Posed as law enforcement trying to extort money

Person just s****ed texting me and wouldn't give me their name

Claim d to be from technical support. Phone numbers one can call for free support(I gave them $400 for technical support about year ago: ha ha). Adam gave me 1 800 820 8012 and 1 800 910****5 for me to get help. The number he called from was 512-361-6369. Gave me email address [email protected]

I received a text. You have no information. So far your service is useless.

HEAVY Indian or Arabic accent. Said his name was John Smith w/ US Solar. Told him to stop calling and hing up. Promptly blocked the number.

“You will be taken into custody by the local police as there are 4 serious allegations pressed on your name at this moment. We would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case before taking any legal action a***nst you. The number to reach us is ....”

This is definitely a scam... I have the text conversation with this individual, who probably used the same thing on Instagram... what he does is find an Instagram friend, make an account with the same name and uses a couple of pics, and tells you about a government bailout program. I should have known better by the time I bought them that it was fake... I am so mad at myself. His name was Marvin Ellison. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!
