Unknown caller, I'm on DO NOT CALL LIST  ***!

517-931-2409 Called, and when I answered I got an automated voice saying to please hold for the next available agent.  I ***g up.  Caller ID shows C237.

call from 517-931-=2409...with caller ID C237..no message...what is C237?

do not give money, vote for anyone or interested in this type of marketing. I don't care if it is a good cause, a religious donation, or feeding the ***gry. Do not call as you are wasting everyone's time.

the caller said she was from the ****** cancer center, now i'm beginning to wonder if it really was.  They were asking for a donation.

Calls off-and-on, says they're from the "****** Cancer Foundation" trying to solicit money.  We do not respond to telephone solicitations, and asked to be placed on the "do not call" list.  They just called a***n today.  Scam artists!

Caller ID showed the phone number and "C237" under it.  No message was left. I am on the Do Not Call list.  I do not believe anyone should be exempted from honoring this list, and I do not buy goods from, vote for, or give to any organization that does not honor the list.  To the child who answered "no" when asked if parents were at home: NEVER answer a question like that if you don't know who the caller is.

called 10/03/09 wouldn't talk but could hear background noise

Called on sunday and asked for me would not give my husband a message when he asked who it was they ***g up. When I answered this morning they ***g up. Wierd!

Had a call from this number, caller ID says "C237", answering ma****e came on, but they ***g up.

Being on the "Do Not Call List" completely****ures that you will get calls.  All non-profit organizations are exempt from it, as are all religious organizations and political parties/candidates.If they're calling on behalf of one of those en***ies, they're allowed to do so.If you put yourself on the Do Not Call List, you just unintentionally placed yourself on their call lists as they can easily obtain these lists.

I'm on the do not call list and received a call from 1 517-931-2409 that was unsolicited.

Just to follow up go to wired . com for more info on this company and the owner etc then go to the FCC website and submit an online complaint , especially if you are on the do not call list. They will take the matter seriously , especially if they get numerous , credible , complaints.

This number is from an unknown company out of tekonsha Michigan. If you want the calls to stop contact Lucre Inc. They are the carrier for this phone number and are located in Grand Rapids. They have a website www.Lucre.net that has a complaint form in the "contact us". I suggest you contact them by phone, e-mail and letter to get your point across and demand the number be terminated.

They called my phone and asked if my parents were home? I said no...and asked to take a message .... they said "there is no message" and ***g up...it really scared me

C237 is the name on caller ID and there is never anyone there....it is almost like they **** up as soon as you answer.I think if you press *60 you can do selective caller rejection.Pressing 3 turns on your call screening when you call *60 and add numbers.W***ver this is...it is just weird.

I got a call from this number and when I picked it up,there was no one there, so after listening for a few seconds, I s****ed pun****g the 3 key until I got a busy signal, then ***g up. I don't know the significance of the 3 key but my husband told me it will stop those calls. I worry about them.

Constant calls without leaving a purpose of call.

Called my cell phone and didn't say anything when I answered.  When I called back I got a recorded message:  For correct mailbox please say the letters on your caller ID.

When the lady on the line asked for me, I pretended to be someone else and offered to take a message.  She said "We're a charity, we'll call back."  I said "Don't bother" and ***g up.
