I too am on the DNC but have been receiving calls from various scammers. From car warranty to this company. I have programmed my cell to only ring on known numbers and to go to a free voicemail (www.youmail.com) where you can program specific greeting for each number. I use a message that says "calling party pays" or "number no longer in service." Friends get a special I refuse to call back - don't want to let them know the number is valid.

got same call. rang 3 times no message

Gotten calls from a couple of times. First time recording saying use florescent bulbs, this time asking to turn off lights in rooms not being used.Tried calling the number back - rang once, then: "Voice mailbox no. 8354710 please leave your name, phone number and any message"

First time the call was about littering.  This time was about using compact fluorescent bulbs.  On do not call list so why???

Received a call from 517.931.2414... did not pick up... it only rang once... CID = Save EnergyI had the local phone company install a privacy firewall (a***nst automated dialers) on my line... but somehow it got thru... but only rang once.Beware... in these hard times... the sleaziest con artists will show up... as unemployment rises... so does the crime rate.

Same number & name just called me too - except he said so****ing about saving energy and using florecent light bulbs.

Got same message as others.  517 appears to be a Michigan area code.  Now I wonder why someone in Michigan would care about someone littering a street a couple thousand miles away(I am not a litterbug by the way).

I just got one as well and filed online complaint with DNC.  Even masking as a PSA (which might exempt them from DNC) is annoying, invasive, and costs me money to receive.  I cybnically suspect it is a front to validate phone numbers.https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

I got the same recording, only the caller id said 517-931-2419.

Same thing as the other person has reported.  The name is unintelligble.  Maybe "Andy Cology" like "And Ecology"."As we drive the streets of this great city we see litter everywhere. Please help keep out city beautiful. Don't litter. This is a public service announcement."
