Leave a CommentI have received a call today from this same number and they are offering me a coupon for 100.00 dollars to use at any retail store because I have used my Mastercard Rewards. I don't even have Mastercard rewards. Watch thesse people. I have called my bank and let them know what these people are doing.
i CALLED A TV ADD FOR DENATL INSURANCE AND RECIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER.
They seem to have stopped (for now I guess). When they call, I pickup but I do not say anything at all. Then a lady (with an accent) will say "Hello?" In the meanest voice that I am capable of, I will then say "What do you want??" (clean version...LOL). She always ****s up. I've done this twice. I also called them back and left a voicemail stating that I am reporting them to the police. I have not heard from them since. The last time they have called was 11/26/08. Then a***n, maybe they are cele***ting Thanksgiving....LOL
This number has been showing up on my caller id for the last 2 days. When I called the # back today, I got a recording stating I've reached the marketing dept and all agents are busy. Leave a msg. I don't like unsoliticted calls and my number is on the do not call list.
I have reported this company to the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection and I suggest you all do the same. Here is the link to the online form, https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ Very quick and easy. My complaint has been entered into Consumer Sentinel, a secure online database available to thousands of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies worldwide.

KBF 517-9333-2009 calls here we do not want them too......Today Sunday my husband has to work nights and they are calling........
These people are scammers do not answer
They have called us repeatedly. I finally answered one of their calls and I asked what they wanted. Their telemarketer for VISA Card Corporation said they were giving away free gas coupons and offered me three different buying services and told me the last four digits of my Visa Card number. This really made me angry. I asked him why he had my numbers and he said, "because you've used your card favorably, we are offering you these opportunities to save money". I told him I was not interested and wanted to know how to get my name off the list. He said my name would continually come up for these offers until I agreed to pay $1.98 shipping to get these great values that would be charged to my credit card. I agreed to pay $1.98 shipping to get these in the mail to look over. Then once I agreed to that and he confirmed I said yes, he then tells me about other offers. One of the offers would cost me $49.95, unless I cancelled it within the first 14 days. This was just to ensure that I looked over the products. The other two were basically the same, but with only 10 days to look them over. One was going to be $19.95 and the other $14.95 per month and directly charged to my credit card. The numbers to call are 1-866-253-0258, 1-800-475-1942 and 1-866-916-8814. Don't be dupped like I was. You tell the SOB's to take your name off their list and you have their number and that you are going to call the FBI, Federal Communications Commission and the VISA card company.you use.
Well, they called back a***n this morning & I reverse searched their number. Too cheap to pay 14.99, I got the number of their carrier, Lucre. This number originates out of Coldwater, MI, Lucre said they would inform them not to call me anymore. They wouldn't give me the name of the company due to confidentiality agreements and probably are the parent company of these scam thieves. They even called me on my cell phone Wednesday with a scam about a sweepstakes; I don't know how they got that number as I have NEVER published it on the internet. I'm going to call the police department in Coldwater, MI & wherever Lucre is headquartered and file telephone harassment complaints a***nst both of them.
These people called me this afternoon & knew my VISA card number, where under the impression it was a credit card. When I told this person, it was none of her business; she giggled and said okay, goodbye. Not professional. I'd like to know what this is about!I star 69ed the call after refusing to talk to them and the number I got was 517-933-2009. I get 3 or four calls a day from these people & since I don't have credit cards; I tell them they have the wrong number & **** up. I'd like to have them arrested for telephone harrassment; they call enough to warrant that.
Calls are annoying; two or three times daily , most time all day and night.
I received a few calls I didn't answer, so when they called a***n I did answer. They said they were calling to thank me for having a long-standing account with my credit card. They said they were with Mastercard. Liars! Then they told me they wanted to give me free $50 gas vouchers to try out a discount card membership for a trial for $2.48 and if I call the toll free number to cancel within 21 days I won't be billed for 19.99 per month. So, I wasn't sure how these people were going to bill me. I didn't give them my credit card, but she had my last four digits. I said what are you going to do send me an invoice? She said no, we'll bill your card. Well, if you can just send me the info I'll look it over, I guess. Great she said, I need to do a verification call. She then proceeded to punch numbers into the phone and they asked which credit card, and the last four digits, and her id number which she punched in, then she said are you ready? Ok, I said, then a recording about the program came on the line. And then it said you agree to sign up for a discount program AND an unlimited long distance calling program which will be billed to your credit card each month for 19.99! WHoa!! No way. Now I was fumed! I wasn't told about this and I am not signing up for it no way when she never metioned it and I just wanted to hear what she was selling. So I told her no I wasn't signing up and she persisted I could cancel I had 21 days, I said No thanks, don't sign me up, and I had to **** up on her. I am going to say that the reason the phone number shows on your caller id as Michigan is because these scam artists use broadband telephone services like Vonage and Earthlink that allow these guys to operate from foreign countries and call you with what looks like a United States phone number. It is bad business. I am also going to put a complaint in with Mastercard, because these people are calling saying they are with Mastercard, and that's fraud! And I called the toll-free number 866-904-3982 that I was given, and I spoke with a woman who was happy to speak with me and she told me they First Action gets credit card information from their marketing partners. I told her I realy don't believe any of the purchases I made online will share my financial info with marketing partners. That's a***nst their privacy policies. It's downright awful. She told me her horror story about iden***y theft. And now she works with these losers, go figure. And I heard a dog barking in the background, she said she had a window open. But I heard the dog a***n. I don't think so. I thought I felt at ease with her because at least she sounded American. But I don't it mattered.
Same here, phone rings all the ti*****is number shows up.What a scam.
i received a call from them and they asked for my cousin in regards to her visa account funny thing is that its my phone number. weird. be careful everybody!!
this is a scam about your credit card. I received a call from them and ***ody said anything back. Earlier this week I got a call from another number in Michigan offering me so****ing in thanks for my long standing Visa card member status. When you call both numbers back you get the same recording "you've reached the marketing department, all representatives are busy....." don't buy into anything they say.
everymorning at 9:30 am. When calling the number you can not even get through. And I am on the do not call registry. How do they get around that?
