Yes the are definitely trying to use the scare tactic.  They did the same thing a week ago.  Called me on my cell phone as well my work at my extension.  Telling me or my attorney need to get back with them as soon as possible or they wished me good luck and may God be with me.  They left there name was John Smith from legal attorney and law.  I responded and called back the number they called me on, it took a couple of attempts to get thru, and they need my phone number.  They proceded to tell me I was a suspect and that was being charged for 3 counts, internet fraud, and etc.  They said needed to take care of it, because this was a federal crime.  They said I took out a payday loan and it was deposited into my bank account, they knew what bank I have, which scared me a little more.  I told them I never did anything on the internet for any such loans or ever received any type of money.  They yelled and said I did and that this was very serious.  I asked them to fax paperwork to me and they s****ed to get ****ed and than I said sorri but you have the wrong person and good luck.  At that time I called my bank and yes no deposits from Instant Cash or any other place besides my employers direct deposit.  I also called back a***n and tried to get their address, they refused and asked if I was a lawyer.  I've been resear****g this and learned these so called John Smith collectors are scam artists and using Southen California phone numbers but may be calling from a call center in India.  They have very heavy accents.  They are scam artists for sure.  I complained to Attorney of General State, and the trade commission.  They number still works.  I hope and pray they catch these **** losers!!!!

Linda A person called me on my cell phone and my work number stated he was from Cyber Crime division, stated there was a affidavit a***nst me. Stated I took a loan from a company (could not give me the name)  he said the loan was for $200 or $300 and now if I do not pay 5848, there will be an officer at my home tomorrow. He told me to call back and talk to his supervisor, I tried calling the phone number back for 6 hours and it was busy, he would not give me any information.
