I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM A SO CALLED WILLIAM JACKSON FROM THE BACK OFFICE OF A LAW FIRM AND HE SAID I OWED THEM 720 DOLLARS AND I BETTER PAY IF NOT I WOULD BE PUT IN JAIL. I TOLD HIM THAT I WAS GOING TO CALL THE COPS AND NEVER TO CALL MY OFFICE A***N. I TOLD HIM HE WAS MESSING WITH THE WRONG PERSON AND I WAS NOT FALLING FOR IT. HE TOLD ME TO ***** OFF. HAHAHA. DONT PAY

I rec'd the same call from these people. I got a call at my home # and my work #. Those of you wondering if you should pay them DO NOT pay them. I went to my bank about this person and the ***nch manager pulled up all this fraud information on the number.  She had said many people were receiving this call...not to believe it. Yes it is a very scary call w/all the threats, but none of them are true, they are ment to scare you into paying them. She called the number back and they would give her no information and got very defensive when she continued badgering them w/questions.   They would up ****ing up on her saying, fine we dont need your customers payment!  A***N DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING!!! This is actually a 2nd number they use. ***nch mgr told me these people recycle numbers to try and throw you off. Another number they used was 1-904-395-5144, this number was used about a month ago from same people. They had the same accent and threats.  Google the number and you will find many other people receiving the same threatening phone call w/same story. Payday loan company going to be charged w/fraud. This time name used was Dennis Walker...

Just received a call from a person with an Indian accent at my office.  Said that I owed for a payday loan.  I have taken payday loans in the past, but all are current with nothing outstanding.  He had some kind of scam offer to purchase some device for $6,000 or pay him so****ing.  Weird call came in from 052312293 and stated that his callback number was 567-248-2129.

Just got a call telling me to get a lawyer and good luck being in jail.   Tried to call number back and it just keep ringing no one answered.

this guy called from an Allen Smith Law firm and said i owed $480.00 dollars... i told him to go... F**k him self... He then said i will be arrested and thrown in jail for 10 months... i replied bring it. the call came in from a 052-312-293 number does that make sense***** no... these people are on the move to F**K U.S Citizens over our on people. What is this word coming to. If you receive a call from 567-248-2129 tell them whats on your mind...thank you.

Got the same message from Alan Smith

I had the same man, Alan Smith,  call my house looking for a person named Casey. There is not even a Casey that lives here.

I have also received a call from a James Watson clamming to be with a lawfirm and his  call back number is 5672482129. I have had other people call as will a Mr. Street and even a woman. These are all scams and they need to be reported. DO NOT confirm any information they have or give them any money.

Just recieved a call from 567-248-2129 and recieved the same message from "Edward Jones" and if I or one of my retained attorneys didn't call back "the second you receive the call"..."the only thing I can do is wish you luck as the situation unfolds around you. Goodbye."  No one knows who this is?

this guy is really busy, I too received a call from "Mr.Smith" although I couldn't figure out what else he was saying, I don't speak broken english from india. I took a message and phone number. I know what to do! Fill out a report to the Ohio state attorney general's office and with the FTC; they will quit calling from that state. of course they will route the call to another state and harrass you a***n, however, just keep filing a***nst them. Perjury for the lying in an affidavit and harrassment for calling 900 times a day, and any other thing you can get information on like theft from the elderly if you are over 65 and they are threatening you. I didn't even get any monies from a payday loan place and I even offered the first person proof but they just yell at you and tell you that you are committing fraud. THEY cannot have you arrested, they can only continue to file false claims. They must provide proof of debt to You. When you file with your state attorney general's office offer them proof that you don't owe.

I received a call at my work today from someone named Allen Smith.  He said he was from the Law Firm of Diane Denniston.  He was very threatening and told me that I owe $5600 to some Pay Day Loan place and if I didn't pay $587 today, that I would be picked up for fraud tomorrow and taken to jail.  I got online and looked up Diane Denniston and called her.  He is not part of her firm at all and she is livid.  Don't fall for this call.

These guys keep harassing me and I really don't know what to do to make them stop I am on the national DNC registry but somehow they found my number.

I have this guy Bob Barrell from Ohio on the phone at my work on hold. He read me an affidavit saying i needed to pay him today or I will be picked up for fraud. I dont know what to do. These people for a payday advance took money out of my account. I do admit i have no idea where the money came from but by the time I noticed it some of my items cleared on those funds. I let them take out 245.00 just to clear it and then placed a stop payment on my account. My bank or the people who processed the payday advance could not get a hold of the company and now this guy is saying good luck if you dont pay. I will be arrested for fraud. What do I do. Do I pay him?

I just recieved a call from this guy claiming to be Alan Smith from Lawfirm and if I did not call back I would be in severe trouble. I called back and told them they had the wrong number. Hopefully they will stop

Goodbye."I had a male friend call back & he got a busy signal...then googled the number.I was FREAKED as I have a stalker who's rich & uses lawyers to sue people unjustly..a****st other more horrible & illegal things :-(Where can I report this creep to???

Okay, so this guy called and left a message speaken broken english demanding i give him a call back regarding some matter, or the best he could do is wish me luck. I was confused, luckily i googled the number before i called back. Now he can call back if he wants to, i have a few choice words for this idiot!!!!

He left a voice message.Said he was Daniel Cooper and the I or my attorney of record should return this call.  I should not disregard it.  If I do choose to disregard the call, there is only one thing he can do,  wish me good luck as the situation unfolds on *****is is the second call like this that I've gotten in the past 6 weeks.  The other was from a Kevin Peterson which I reported to the Federal Trade Commission.  I plan on reporting this one as well.

Some man called me saying I owed $721 and if I did not pay him I was in a lot of trouble! He told me he was a lawyer and when I said I did not believe him he said I would find out how real he was in two days when I was in jail !!!  If you get a call from 15672482086 REPORT IT !!!!

These people are harrassing me at my job and even got very graphic with my supervisor. What can I do to stop this???

I received a call from this numver and the person leaving the message was from India and left a threating message.
