It's a scam claiming to be the irs. News flash people, the irs don't call you on the phone. The mail you either a certify or register letter.

IRS scam. They have called twice. Let your answer machine filter them.

I know shame on me but I was not in my correct frame of mind at the time. I will not fall for this again and please don't you either. Tell them your gonna record the call get their address, name, and Phone number if they say no then hang up even the playing field.

TOTAL SCAM!! They called saying we were being sued for a loan that we never got! They threaten to send people to my home and my job. Even verified with loan company and bank that money was never recieved.. Be careful. don't let them scare you! they are frauds!

Fed Up Brian Jackson - Credit Bureau of Investigation. Said I was going to be arrested for a payday loan from Cash Advance.

Eric Anderson Have gotten multiple calls claiming that they are "James Smith" or "Attorney Samuel Bishop" (HEAVY ASIAN ACCENTS) and that I am being sued due to a Pay Day Loan that has not been paid back. They then threaten that the local police/sherriff is going to come arrest me, etc. I have filed a complaint with the FCC every time they make contact with me and the FCC is VERY aware of what this group is trying to do. In getting more information for the FCC complaint I tried to get an address so that I could mail them the money, and they refused to give one stating that I must buy a prepaid money pack and call them with all the Serial numbers so that they can get the funds. Today I asked "Samuel Bishop" where he was located and he stated 225 North 41st Street Springfield Oregon 97478. I Googled that address and found that it is a trailor park. Everyone who is bothered by these thieves should file a complaint with the FCC and/or any fraud prevention company.

Michael Sinclaire is the name that I was given that is ***ociated with the above number. This ******* IS A ****ING scam artist. I apologize for the language but I am ****ED. He attempted to swindle $300 out of me as he claimed he was a debtor collecting and outstanding debt that I had. This was all false information he some how managed to hack into my account information through a third party company. Now granted $300 isn't a lot of money however, it is hard earned money that I do not have to just give away to people. So be very careful of this ***HOLE. When he calls he has a heavy Eastern accent, and is very conniving.

amber This company identifies itself as Frost and Jacobs Law Firm. It is an idiot that can barely speak english. He says his name is Michael Smidt...They have called my cell phone 7 times and left 4 very unintellidgible messages. They then called my work number and harrassed my employee into giving me the phone. I told him that if they do not remove my work number from their file and if they continue to harrass me at work, then I would file charges. I asked that all correspondance be in writing. They are jerks, and if they want anyone to take them seriously they need to hire people that can speak english....

Unknown They are scammers. They call and harrass you at work. They even spoke to one of my staff members and made a huge ordeal about speaking with me. I got on the phone and told them that if they contacted me at work and harrassed me again, I would file complaints and press charges and do anything I could to get them out of business. I am so annoyed! You do not discuss private information with other people.....I don't care what the hell you are calling about....

Had a call from same guy trying to reach an employee that works for me on business phone same accent told him she wasn't there . Then he said she committed a crime and I needed to let him talk to her. He said something I couldn't understand in English. Then he said he was an attorney and I better let him talk to her. He was just a rouge bill collector.

Some person called stating I took a payday loan from America Payday Loan and that they are suing me. That police will show up at my home and job. I did my research and found out this is nothing but a scam. But the funny thing is they did not ask for no money. But i knew I never took a payday but I did apply for one. But what makes me upset is that they have my information. Is there anything i can do about this?

These people have been trying scamming people for months now, using different phone numbers, 920-602-0879 is another one, and NOTHING BEEN DONE ABOUT IT? I'm sure they have some success, or else would be in business for so long... One would expect the credit card companies to take action, since they're the ones to get hurt once your CC number is being stolen, no?

Genelle Clark I received a call from this number about 1/2 hour ago. (12/31/11) My caller ID said V12311538030066 and listed 567-248-4400 as the number calling. I did not answer the phone, but instead started researching the number online. I have found several different websites on which people discuss and complain about this number. A woman named Rachel asks if you would like the opportunity to lower your credit card interest rates. Several people reported that they told the caller that they did not have a credit card and/or asked to have their number taken off the company's call list, only to be called names and sworn at. I just posted a message regarding this on facebook. I just want to spread this information as far as possible so that others won't fall for it.

SICK AND TIRED Guess do not call list means little. Do these lowlifes ever get fined?. Does anyone know someone that really looks forward to telemarketers bothersome phone calls? An industry made up that has absolutely no usefull contribution to our country. Congress make them go away! Check that, congress is in the same category. Maybe the FCC can do their job?

On pressing 9 to speak to someone (again) to have number removed, the woman kept asking what my name was. I refused to give it because it's not important what my name is. The number needs to be removed from the call list, I said. She put me on hold and then disconnected the call. When I called back using the number on my Caller ID, it was busy all the time.

Call to lower interest rates. Call was to my business number. First identified himself as Mathew Kidman later identified himself as Nimba Garcia. Said he was with Visa/MasterCard. I told him I wanted to talk with Manager to have my number removed. He was very rude, vulgar, and spoke the worst profanity I have every heard. This business must be shut down.

Mac Received call 1/3/2011. Recorded message. "Dial 9 to obtain important information regarding lowering interest rate on credit cards". I hung up.

Copper Cat Received two calls from this number in as many months (Las Vegas, NV). Of course I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, especially when the caller ID text is PHONE SCAM. Maybe somebody at the phone company or a hacker has done this to help the ignorant.

After all we do have the government No Call program.I have yet to see any government program that does anything like it is supposed to do.One of Nixon's really top advisors said "If you really want to look intelligent simply announce that any program the government announces either will achieve the opposite or completely mess up something closely related." When these individuals are finally caught, everyone that they have called and tried to scam should be able to take their telephones and bash them in their brainless heads the same number of times they called us. The word vigilantism comes to mind for some reason.

I received a call from this number and it comes up on my caller ID as "PHONE SCAM". We consider this to be a prank call. We didn't answer, obviously. But from the looks of it this little bugger is making the rounds across the US. He shouldn't be aloud to have a phone if this is what he's using it for. I don't know this person nor anyone else living in Ohio. The number is now blocked on my phone, but something needs to be done about this. Seriously 71 complaints total! Now this makes 72. Does he have to reach a certain number of complaints before something is done?
