YES, I received a call from this number and in checking my caller ID it came up as Scam phone, I let my answering ma****e take the call and the caller ***g-up. I don't know anyone in Ohio and am concerned on how they got my number.

Message at s**** of call staes you can lower you credit card rate by pressing 9. Pressed 9 & got live person. Requested to speak with someone who could get my number off their list. Was transfered to a *** line.

Received two calls from this number in as many months (Las Vegas, NV). Of course I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, especially when the caller ID text is PHONE SCAM. Maybe somebody at the phone company or a hacker has done this to help the ignorant.

Don't be surprised that you are receiving these calls. After all we do have the government No Call program.I have yet to see any government program that does anything like it is supposed to do.One of Nixon's really top advisors said "If you really want to look intelligent simply announce that any program the government announces either will achieve the opposite or completely mess up so****ing closely related." I know of no time that this has not been the case. So - enjoy your No Calls. Your government is working.

When these individuals are finally caught, everyone that they have called and tried to scam should be able to take their telephones and bash them in their ***inless heads the same number of times they called us. The word vigilantism comes to mind for some reason.

I received a call from this number and it comes up on my caller ID as "PHONE SCAM". We consider this to be a prank call. We didn't answer, obviously. But from the looks of it this little ****** is making the rounds across the US. He shouldn't be aloud to have a phone if this is what he's using it for. I don't know this person nor anyone else living in Ohio. The number is now blocked on my phone, but so****ing needs to be done about this. Seriously 71 complaints total! Now this makes 72. Does he have to reach a certain number of complaints before so****ing is done?

I loved the PHONE SCAM caller ID. I'm also on the "do not call' registry. Didn't answer but appreciated the ID.

Same as the above calls said Experian had said I was paying my bills timely and they could lower my interest rate. Wanted to verify the customer phone number on the back of my card . Told them no. they said this was my last chance. HAHA I have been called by these people numerous times. didnt give any info how do I get them to QUIT CALLING ME!!!!!

On my caller ID it said "phone scam". We did not pick it up.. and wont after reading all these comments.. We are on the Do Not Call List.. how can these people get away with this?

I answered the call and pressed 9. When a human got on the line he said he was representing my "credit card company" and could lower my interest rates. I asked him which company, and he said "the one that issued your credit card" When pressed to give me a name of the company he ***g up.

The Consumer and Governmental Affairs office is a good place to write complaint letters to regarding ****s like these. Maybe, if enough of us reports these scam artists they can move on to some other criminal activity and leave us alone. Contact online: Consumer & Governmental Affairs Bureau.

I received a call from this person at about 6 pm and the name on the caller i.d. said TELEMARKETER. When I tried calling back I got a recording that said: "This call cannot be completed as dialed."

called to 'lower' my credit card rates.I was on the phone for over an hour trying to understand what he was selling.He got very upset with me.Charged $699 to take over my credit card debt.Thought it was a good deal.I later had second thoughts...tried to call the number he gave me ...it was no longer in service.Have now had to cancel everything.Buyer beware!!!

I have received a call or two from this number, but have either not been home to answer or just let the ma****e pick it up. Based on the comments I've read from other people, and numerous other complaints about this number on other websites, I've reported the number to Ohio Telecom so that they can begin an investigation and perhaps shut this iden***y theft scheme down. Automated call from "cardholder services" wants to lower "your interest rates" on credit cards. Registers on CID as just CALLER.

Called at 7:12 Good Friday night. When we answered no one responded.

Automated systems calls my FAX number at least once or twice a month about credit cards and that "Nothing is wrong yet..." I believe it is an attempt to get you to sign up for some protection plan or to combine cards into a new one. (I don't even HAVE credit cards!)

this caller was trying to obtain credit card information, said they could lower the rates on visa or master card accts, said he was an account manager and this was a one time offer to lower card rates, visa and mastercard do not work together, so how could he be calling for both companies?

My name is Rachel and I am called from credit card...." I immediately ***g up and didn't listen to the entire recording. I was busy when the phone rang, and this is an aggravation I could do without!
