Said he was Officer Pederson from IRS, ID# IRM23690...hard to understand because of foreign accent. Said I owe X amount of $$'s from mistakes on my taxes and that a warrant for my arrest has been issued unless I settle this now. He said he could have people at my door in 15 minutes to arrest me with handcuffs and I'd spend 5 years in prison. I reported this at tigta.gov Scary, mean voice!

Its a scam, The IRS will not call you like this..

This number called me within 4hrs of me completing my tax return online with TAXACT.COM. It did the same last year with a different number. You receive a call from a recording saying that the IRS is suing you and you will be arrested. The IRS only contacts you by mail or a scheduled phone interview. THIS IS FRAUD!!! It tells you to call the number back. Once called back the caller was foreign.
