This is a 3rd party a hired gun so to s***k. They are not Amex but represent them selves as such. Deal with Amex directly if you want to settle. Get terms in writting with a firm payoff amount. Never deal with a collection agency.

American Express sear****g for payments on unpaid accounts.

I repeatedly told the caller that cannot and will not pay a debt of more than 12 years ago. Today in less than an hour, I received three calls. They claim to have my address but still I receive calls shortly past 6:00 AM.

Do not answer.  They are a collection agency and chances are have bought your prior written off debt from American Express.

they keep calling

Call them back.  It's American Express.  They called our business several times and ***g up.  I called them back and they were looking for an employee who doesn't even work here anymore.  Simple solution - advise them of that and request they stop calling...

I have received two calls within 1.5 hours of being in my office. Both times, there is no one there, almost like the call didn't connect at all.

Calls our company constantly. Every time the call is answered, there's ***ody on the other end and the call disconnects. No name shows up on our office caller ID, just the phone#: 571-261-0008.

Its American Express.

Caller ID says American Express.  I don't think it's them though.  They call, leave no message.  Anybody else having issues with these guys?
