Stand your ground and know your rights they are less likely to harrass you if you know the laws. By the way to earlier posts you may actually owe the debt collector even if not the originator of the debt. company's buy and sell debt all the time and you probably agreed that the originator could granted this is not the normal debt market. They do have to be able to prove that the debt is valid and simply having payment records or written statement from the originator is not validation.
This is one of those collection agencies that purchase ancient charge off's and then try to harrass you into paying them.

You dont owe the 'debt collector'... one owes the orginator of the debt and thus by law, they must prove that they have permission from the orginal vendor to collect on their behalf. People have paid these 'debt collectors' in the past and found out that they paid "***ody'-- in was just a fraud. DO PAY DEBT COLLECTORS unless they prove they have permission to collect on behalf of the orginal vendor.
yes we can compalin...learn to be a debt collector and stop breaking the law. u can not call people when you want at all times and annoy them. If you are getting annoying calls, you have rights...read the Federal Debt Collection Laws. and you can also file complaints a***nst them with the Federal Trade Commission and your State Attorney General's office.
Its actually not a fraudulent Debt Collector, it is a real debt collector. If you are getting calls from this number, don't complain on here about it being annoying, or claiming its fraudulent. Its real. And it means that you are in debt. So SA Williams, yes, they will call you all the time, thats what happens when you don't pay your bills.
Someone named Patricia Vaughn from****ets Acceptance. Left message on work number. Called several times in one day. Annoying. Becoming a nuisance. On the voicemail when I arrive at work in the morning.
Fraudulent Deb collector, banks on getting people frightened into sending money for debts already paid.
