We are getting the calls early in the morning as well.  There was no one on the other end for the first week or so and now there is a guy saying he is from Wells Fargo Bank.  We do currently have a loan with Wells Fargo but I am not sure if this is really them as the number says unknown name.

I had this number show up on my caller ID and it turned out it was a representative from the Des Moine Wells Fargo that I had contacted earlier through their 1-866 number.

Answer the phone and talk to the representative from Wells Fargo Financial and they will stop calling if you decline the offer nicely or tell them to take you off the calling list.

We've gotten this call several times, usually early in the AM.  We're currently mortgaged with Wells Fargo so we called our representative to complain.  They told us that NO ONE from Wells Fargo should be contacting us but our selected representative.  They said it sounded like a scam and that we should get as much info as we could the next time they called so they could add it to their investigation (apparantly there's an ongoing investigation, so they say).
