Receive an average of 4-5 calls per day from this number every day.  Very annoying.  No message left by them.  I do not answer.  If they are a collection agency I have nothing in arrears for them to be calling about.  I don't understand why so****ing can't be done about this.  They obviously, from reading all the emails, are a very annoying company and, evidently, rude!

Go to ftc.gov and file a complaint. The FTC loves to go after clowns like this.

sid, look up the deffination of harrasment. I bet what they are doing is NOT harrasment. they can call you as many times as they would like. your caller ID and answering  ma****e does not count as a contact. It is up to you to tell them NOT to call.  ellen, a debt can be persued FOR EVER, if it is not paid. It is up to YOU to provide proof that it is paid. And depending on what medical procedure it is, many of the balances are the same.JE, they do not have to tell you who they are or why they are calling, until they identify the person they are speaking with is the person they are looking for. 007 or should I say 006 & 1/2. you are just an A hole. you must be a real DEAD BEAT.

If all you dead beats would just pay your bills, you would not have to worry about the calls. PAY YOUR BILLS, no wonder this country is in such financial trouble. You people think everyone owes you so****ing. Grow Up and s**** paying your bills. If you can afford to run up your debt, you should be able to afford to pay your debt. Get a life, better yet, GET A JOB.

This number calls me like 10 times a day and when I answer noone is on the line, it is extremely annoying. PS they will not leave a message.

Finally answered the call after receiving 3 per day.  they were looking for someone not****igned to this phone.  automated service, could not get anywhere with it.  called back.  spoke with an agent.  they are going to remove the number and apologized.  registered to Berks Credit & Collections, Inc 900 Corporate Drive Reading

This is a collection agency that has apparently bought up really old accounts from hospitals.  The account they called me about is over 10 years old and has been paid.  I sent them a letter explaining all that and to tell them to quit calling.  They are still calling about 3 times a week.At least 5 other people at my work have received calls and mail  from these people and it seems that they all owe the same amount which I find a little odd and all the "bad" accounts are from the same hospital.

Just send them a letter, email and voicemal and tell them they are breaking the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act which states if you wish contact to cease it must. Also tell them of local laws regarding harassment and stalking.

Burks Credit & Collections 1-610-916-7261 continuously called my home refusing to say who they were or why they were calling. They asked for my aunt, who has Alzheimers and is currently in a Alzheimers facility, but refused to tell me why. I stated I am her Power of Attorney but still refused to tell me why they wanted her. I clearly knew they had a past due bill, because when I flew to Washington, DC to bring her home, she had forgotten to pay her bills, of which I have tried to contact all her past due bills and pay. All that to say they were so rude and told me because of law, they did not have to disclose who they were!!!

THEY KEEP CALLING AND WHEN I ASKED WHO THISWAS, THEY WOULDN'T TELL ME. I ALSO ASKED FORTHE MANAGER, AND HE WOULDN'T TELL ME THE NAMEOF THE COMPANY.

Get yourself a very loud whistel or other obnoxious sound generating device and call this number (888)932-6553 ,this is a toll free number. There is an "help wanted" ad in today's (02/08) Reading Eagle that uses that phone number for a "Tile & Stone" company. Is the number re-assigned?

keep calling placing the phone on hold then they get on will not give information to my wife just **** up.  Harrassing calling several times a day will not leave a message.

I HAVE BEEN ANNOYED BY THIS PHONE# AT LEAST 3 TIMES A DAY FOR THE LAST 5 MONTH. THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE.

This number calls me about 3 times a day on my cell phone. I have no clue who it is - they never leave a message. One time I answered and pressed 1 like it asked me to and they put me on hold for about 3 minutes until I ***g up. It's ridiculous!

These people keep calling me! They are driving me nuts! They never leave a message and just keep harrasing me!

Ditto, twice a day, asking for my daughter who died three months ago. Recorded message with definite Hispanic accent, also Hispanic accent when I finally spoke to them this morning. Asked who she was and who she represented, she answered, "Goodbye." Didn't call back tonight - keeping my fingers crossed. If they call a***n, I'm going to tell them to take my name off their list. I understand that they are allowed one call after that, and then they must comply according to federal law.I'm pretty sure it is a collection agency - my daughter died owing money (cancer care is very expensive.) Area 610 is Pennsylvania and 916 localizes it to Leesport, a small town roughly midway between Allentown and Reading.

People from this number keep calling me several times a day, and asking for  a person whom I don't know, and who never lived at my home. I asked them several times during past few weeks to remove my number from there telephone list, but they just keep calling. Today I spoke with there supervisor Sam Pirs, who just ****up on me without replying to my request.

Called at 8:55 AM asking for Jay (recorded message)I ***g up.  But this number keeps calling.
