I wonder how much of your contribution actually go where it is needed.Which percentage of your contributions will get eaten up by "administrative costs" etc.CONSUMER BEWARE!
Kept getting calls from them. Told them I did not have $ to donate, that I barely had $ to live off of, let alone give away to ****s. (yes, most cops are ****s). I was told the calls would stop. They didn't. I emailed them. Got a response that my # would be removed and they were so sorry. The calls stopped for about 2-3wks. Now they have s****ed up a***n. Instead of calling 2-3 times a day at all hours they now call right around 8-8:30AM waking me up. Now its 1-2 times a week. But it always wakes me up. This time I answered. The guy sounded nice, told me who he was said "don't worry you aren't in trouble" I cut him off and told him that I wasn't interested, I'd asked to be removed MANY times, and he continued into his spiel about what they were. I ***g up on him. I've been told that they are ALLOWED to call and harass because they are Non-Profit, but I do keep reporting them to the DNC list anyhow.

I should be on the Do Not Call list but I constantly get solicitation calls. I just don't answer the calls from unknown numbers. I wish I could stop them all!
Now we are monitoring this phone number too, look like a new one. They also have a bunch of numbers under police protective fund. http://www.pfcl.org/Most_Wanted.htmlhttp://fox17.com/newsroom/top_stories/videos/wztv_vid_4058.shtmlhttp://www.wmctv.com/Global/story.asp?S=12576824#http://www.pfcl.org/Badge_Fraud_Videos.htmlhttp://www.pfcl.org/Officer_Down_Foundation.htmlDont forget to report this scam to your local police and media, they dont like this kind of stuff. These people are using fraudulent techniques and I dont think they can stop on their own. The courts in several states have not been able to stop them. I bet we can, and we can quick if you call your local police, sheriff and media. This law applies to these fundraisers every time they misrepresent to you.It is from North Carolina but laws in most of your states are the same, just a different statute number.
