I just told them "Good Luck on finding the check in the mail!" **** Up! These people are ridiculous! They ask me if they are speaking to ? and I ask, "Who is calling"? They will not say unless I say my name. I have all the numbers blocked from my phone. There is about 7 of them! Just mark on phone list as, Don't answer" if you can't block. This way you can go ahead and hit the NO ****on!

I just got my first cell phone that I plan to only use when I really have to. Still trying to figure out how to use it. Just set it up on line last night, not even sure if I did it right, have not given the number to anyone, and find this ****** number on it!!  I thought it just might be the cell phone co. saying I did not activate it right.  Sure glad I checked with you guys before I called it.  Idiots.  I too have no debt.  Thanks for the info.

get calls daily, multiple times a day.....talked to someone once! After they called my fiance's cell phone looking for me. Trying to collect on a so called debt from 10 years ago! Checked statue of limitations for the state that I haven't lived in in 8 years, and it is way past! Very frustrating, but PORTFOLIO RECOVERY just tries to scam u into paying so****ing that either isn't even yours or doesn't even exist on your credit report. Ignore them! This number 620-662-1492 keeps calling us several times a day. Doesn't leave a message. Who is it and why are they calling?

Portfolio recovery.  These *****s have been calling me 5-10 times a day for the last few months, sometimes even on the weekends.  The last time they called I missed but called back immediately and actually spoke to someone.  They weren't even looking for me but had "been given my name and number as a secondary contact" for some ****** I've never even met in my life.  I told them if they call me a***n I would sue the sh*t out of them.  They apparently got the message because it's been about 2 days without calls from them.

These characters need a serious a-- whipping they don't take no for a answer. I told them they got the wrong number and they keep calling me like I am hiding so****ing. People need to find there location of business and give them a serious house cleaning.

Keeps calling about a past debt I do not owe. They told me I had to send in a letter requesting they do not call me. I told them I was on 2 different "no call" lists and they just laughed.

They keep calling me for a Aarons rental from 2005, I had the furniture for 3 months, me and my fiancee broke up and I returned the furniture. now they want me to pay over $3,000 on so****ing I don't have anymore..I just tell them to kiss my **** and **** up. I gotta give em kuddos because they are presistant as*****..I see someone referring to them as a company that buy junk debt thats uncollectible. well that is absolutly true in my case..good *****in luck to them..

They have been calling me for the past 3 or 4 years over a debt that was taken care of  over 15 years ago!  They won't leave me alone no matter what I tell them.  First they asked for me by my maiden name, and refused to tell me where they got my phone number since I don't give it out. I have been married since 1998 and this "debt" was taken care of waaayyyy before that.

F*** you motherf***er!I saw the weird, "620" and thought 'I don't know anyone in the 620 and having telemarketed for years in my college days, NEVER heard of it."I picked up the call and said nothing, and it clicked. F***ing robocalling piece of **** company, and yes I have been pestered by Portfolio Recovery before for a car I sold a year ago that was impounded then resold by the tow company.Portfolio Recovery you ****!

Portfolio Recovery****ociates is a junk debt buyer that tries to collect on ancient, invalid, uncollectible debts. They've also called me from:620-662-1492205-423-4020731-984-7690620-662-8870757-961-3547757-864-0020Sometime the caller ID lists their company name but not always.

Extremely rude company trying to collect on bogus collection accounts.

They asked for a name I did not recognize, but when I said that I was on a no call list and would appreciate if my number were removed from their list, the young man got angry. He said he was not a telemarketer, that he was a debt collector. No one in my house has delinquent debt, so I do not know how they obtained our number. I believe these are predators and I am going to report them on every site I know!

This person called to tell us that we behind in paying our Wells Fargo visa bill.  We pay it in full each month, so we knew they had the wrong person, sure enough, wrong person, very upsetting however.

The number belongs to a company called Portfolio Recovery****ociates, sometimes doing business as Anchor Receivables. The buy up junk uncollectable debts that the statute of limitations has expired on, then try to strong arm people into paying. A Google search will quickly show that they are s***bags and will do anything to collect money that isn't owed to them.
