I'm in the same situation as Chris from 7 Nov 2008. Someone accidentally gave my cell # as their contact number and now I keep getting calls from Comcast installers. I've called Comcast three times to let them know of the problem but they will not remove my number--so I say '***** 'em' and I've been telling the installers that "I am home but that I am hard of hearing, my doorbell doesn't work so you have to really pound the heck out of my door, did you knock at the front door? no no no, you have to pound on my back door", "sorry I missed you but my dog chewed an electrical wire and I had to rush him to the vet can we reschedule? what's the earliest time you have? sorry I missed you, I must have been sleeping and I just didn't hear you, I have bad ears from listening to classical music too loudly all my life, can we reschedule? what's the latest that you can come out?" etc. I've been *****ing with them like this for almost a month and it's just too funny that they keep coming to hook me up!If this happens to you, waste their time like I am. Turn-around is fair play.

I cancelled my comcast internet about a week ago and since then, they have called me atleast once a day. I'm hoping it will stop soon but it's definately not going to make me resign with them if they keep bugging the s**t out of me.

Comcast is driving me up the wall! Someone ordered service, somewhere MY cell phone number was typed in and they won't take me off the list because "My phone is a customer." The installation people keep calling me because they can't get ahold of whomever bought the service, but no one can cancel my number.I am so  glad we canceled our cable years ago if the CS is this horrible and annoying.

I called to cancel service. Two days later they called 3 times in less 24 hours and left no message. I am sure more will come.

It was Comcast calling to confirm a service appointment -- they left a message.

It's comcast. I called the 888 number earlier in the week to drop tv in 1 week but keep internet. 2 days later this number called to confirm that both internet and tv had been disconnected! Bother were currently still working at the time. Clueless. I explained that tv was not scheduled to be disconnected for a few more days and internet should not be disconnected at all, why don't they know this already?I called the 888 number to confirm my original request and there were some issues there also. Worst service.

I just ended my comcast service yes****ay and s****ed getting calls all day today from this number with no message left.

I also have been getting calls from this number, they **** up when I say*****o.

Comcast called me from this number to remind me of a tech visit I have scheduled tomorrow.

I can't wait to move to another location where a better service is available to me...

That's exactly what it was. Told them twice now I don't want Cable or Phone. I'm happy with my hijacked cable and my cell service.

I get calls from this number a few times a month and they never leave messages. I have Comcast internet, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's them calling to get me to add cable or so****ing.

651-493-5027, this was from Comcast.  My bill is past due, she was polite, I don't have a current bill so I told her I would review it online and pay it at my convenience.  Not harassing in the least.

It's Comcast. They called me today and asked if I wanted to add internet to my cable plan. It was actually a pretty good deal... 6Mbps for 26.99 for 12 months. Best and longest going deal I've came across from them.

I think it's Comcast calling to upsell...

I also have been getting calls from this number about once per week, but I'm always in class so I can never answer it.

Hey, I got a call from this number today, but I didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message. I just ended my Comcast service, so I'm sure they were calling to bug me.
