I just recd another call from steven jones he states that it is with Lanphier and****oc gave me a different number to call, when I looked the number up it pulls as a cell phone, so why would a law firm****oc give his cell phone to call?????????????????????????

I recdeived a call from 661-210-4685 stating that same as the above this week, I have tried to call them back and can't get through, has anyone heard anything back from them or been served or took to jail? I was told that I would be served with papers for court

I received a call from 661-210-4685 and they wanted me to write a letter of apology with my debit card number included and gave me a fax number to send it to.The fax number was 310-881-6971.I could barely understand him-Heavy indian accent.I ask him to send me some paperwork and he got irate and said if I didn't pay I would be arrested the next day.Well I'm not in jail and I didn't pay.

Just checked my messages and a women was on my voicemail, telling me to contact her regarding a lawsuit, which I know nothing about. I also tried to call them back and got what sounded like a fax ma****e. I didn't get a name from her but she had a heavy Indian accent.

Got a call from Steve Johnson.  His English was so broken I could only understand a fraction of what he said but I caught his first comment that this was a "warning message".  I have no idea who these people are and they did not identify the company they work for.  Guess I'll just have to wait to see if they call a***n and have mastered the English language.

I received a call from a man named ? couldn't tell exactly who claimed that this is an urgent message and that I should contact my attorney, etc. who left a message on my answering ma****e at my business. I tried to return his call but he kept ****ing up on me.

They called me today and said their name wasStacy Matthews. She said that if I or my attorney did not call her back then legal action would be taken a***nst me. She did not say why but that it was time senstive. The number that came in my caller id was private but she gave me the number 661-210-4685.

They called my work and told me that I received a loan for 350.00 and would have to go to court if I did not take care of this right now. This is scary because he had my bank info . I have contacted my bank to prove that I never received any money from this scam. Do not return these calls!!!!!!!!!

I GOT A CALL FROM KATHY AT WORK STATING SHE WAS CALLING FROM A LAWSUIT STATIG THAT SOME GOVERMENT LOAN OFFICE IS SUEING ME BECASUE THEY LET ME BORROW $300 AND I NEED TO PAY THEM BACK. SHE DID NOT GIVE ME A CALL BACK # THE FIRST TIME NOR THE NAME OF THE LAW FIRM AND THAT SHE WORKS FROM DIFFERENT LAW OFFICES AND SHE ALSO SAID SHE COULD NOT GIVE ME INFOR THAT I HAD TO PAY THE MONEY OR I WOULD HAVE TO GO TO COURT. I CALLED MY BANK AND CONFIRMED THIS  THEY SAID NO MONEY WAS EVER DEPOSITED INTO MY BANK FROM ANY LOAN OFFICE. I THEN KNEW SHE WAS SCAMMING ME. I REPORTED THIS TO THE FBI AND TO THE POLICE

Yes, received the same call both at home and at work harrassing me that they file a lawsuit and when I ask for do***ents they could not provide any information. They want me to fax a letter authorizing them to deduct money from my account. It sound like an Indian guy and stated that his name was alan macDonald.

A MAN NAMED JARED BROWN CALLED, LEFT A VOICEMAIL. SAID THE CALL WAS TIME SENSITIVE AND IF I DID NOT HAVE AN ATTORNEY, I BETTER GET ONE.  THIS IS THE SECOND TIME.  THE FIRST TIME WAS FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER. I WAS SO SCARED BY THEM TELLING ME THAT I WAS GOING TO BE ARRESTED FOR FRAUD AND THAT MY REFERENCES (ONLINE PAYDAY LOAN) WERE GOING TO BE ARRESTED AS WELL, THAT I PAID THEM THE MONEY THEY WERE DEMANDING. WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THEY WOULD SEND ME THE PAPERWORK AFTER THEY RECEIVED THE MONEY.  I CALLED THE FIRST NUMBER A WEEK LATER AND GOT A RECORDING THAT THE NUMBER WAS NO LONGER IN SERVICE.  I CALLED THE PAYDAY LOAN PLACE AND THEY SAID THEY WERE NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANYONE AT THAT NUMBER.  THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM.  DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT TO DO TO REPORT THIS?

Yes, we to have been receiving the same messages!  These people need to be stopped!  Its a scam!

Yes, same with me... basically the same as reports below...I was quite surprised that they (Sean Sean Taylor) was unable to let me know what payday place they were accusing me of not paying.... how can I check my records if they are not willing to let me know that?.....But same thing.....court/legal stuff...wish I could share more info. They actually phoned my supervisor, very wrong....  sorry, do not have caller ID at MY WORK no.

I have received the same call, 2 weeks ago, I was very ill at that time and ask them to call me back, I tried to call the number from my caller ID back ,got no answer, then 2 weeks later they leave a message on my ma****e, I called back and asked them for paperwork work regarding this case, and I told them I am not paying anyone with a debit or credit card, only with amoney order, if the paperwork seems to be in order. They are supposed to be sending me paperwork, we will see. I am going to consult with an attorney friend.

The guys name was Brock Johnson or Jeff Marks both are foreign speaking threatened me with a law suit for a 300.00 payday loan that I did not get. I did apply but cancelled did not continue. I have my bank statements and nevered recieved money from them.

This is a scam.  They have called me as well.  Contact the FBI or Secret Service.  They are calling from India and no one is going to arrest you.  In fact when I talked to the secret service one of their agents was receiving this same call at the secret service office.  Do Not call them back.

Just received a phone call from 661-210-4685 telling me to call or have my attorney call. Everytime I call this number I get a fax ma****e.

I keep getting calls from this number at work and on my cell phone.  First of all you can't understand the guy Jack Brown he talks so fast it took my 4 messages to finally understand the return phone.  When I called him back and told him to take it up with my attorney he ***g up on me and now when I call the number back it sounds like a fax ma****e.

So I just checked my messages on my phone and have a message from a man named James Samual. He says that the message that I (he then says my full name) am about to recieve is extremely time sensitive and that if I or my lawyer do not call him in his division at 661-210-4685, Friday morning he is going to send two of his legal officers to my residence and they are going to ****** me and my two references to the court house where I will face a big legal mess. But if I do not want to have to deal with the legal issue I must call him or have my lawyer call him. I don't even know who this person is and he doesn't really state who he is calling for or anything but I did try to call the number he gave but when I call it sounds like someone picks up but then I get a long beeping sound like a fax ma****e.

I also keep getting a call from this number !!!they say its a federal payday loan .. they wont give me any info and the calls are very harassing and annoying !!!

got a call from kenneth samuel and told me that a federal payday loan file a lawsuit for *****is is my second time, the other one is a different number. Because i never paid the amount. And i ask what's the name of that payday loan they couldn't gave me any information.
