I got a call on my cell phone. I didn't answer.

I received multiple calls from a gentleman stating that his name was Kevin Foster and that he would be picking my up in 2hrs to take me to court and that i would be arrested for failure to pay on a loan with CashNet, he proceeded to tell me that he would like to speak with my supervisor to let them know that i would be going to jail and the reasons why. He asked me where I would be in two hrs, he knew my email address and advised me that i owed $1,095.00 and if I couldn't pay in full today i would be going to jail. he proceeded to read me an affidavit, he was not professional and proceeded to tell me that it was obvious that i wanted to get into a legal mess and that I was previously informed of this case, which I was not. He continues to call multiple times a day. The number 661-210-4682 only gives you fast busy signals when you call it back. he is harassing me at work non-stop constantly threatening me, and stating that so****ing bad is going to happen to me and that he wishes me goodluck.

Becky These people are calling me on my cell number and office number and say if I do not pay $513.00 today that they will send someone to my home to take me to the court house for my trial. I would then have to pay $5400.I could not get anyone to give me so****ing in writing about this loan that I supposedly took out. I kept getting transferred around to different people threatening me with legal action. They will not supply any hard copy do***entation until you have given a Visa or Mastercard number. I then got a call on my cell number that went to voice mail and it was the same mid eastern accent calling for some one ( not me) and threatening them not to fail to call back immediately. I believe that this is a scam.

I received a call from 661-210-4685 and they wanted me to write a letter of apology with my debit card number included and gave me a fax number to send it to.The fax number was 310-881-6971.I could barely understand him-Heavy indian accent.I ask him to send me some paperwork and he got irate and said if I didn't pay I would be arrested the next day.Well I'm not in jail and I didn't pay.

Lori Got a call from Steve Johnson.  His English was so broken I could only understand a fraction of what he said but I caught his first comment that this was a "warning message".  I have no idea who these people are and they did not identify the company they work for.  Guess I'll just have to wait to see if they call a***n and have mastered the English language.

SAID THE CALL WAS TIME SENSITIVE AND IF I DID NOT HAVE AN ATTORNEY, I BETTER GET ONE.  THIS IS THE SECOND TIME.  THE FIRST TIME WAS FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBER. I WAS SO SCARED BY THEM TELLING ME THAT I WAS GOING TO BE ARRESTED FOR FRAUD AND THAT MY REFERENCES (ONLINE PAYDAY LOAN) WERE GOING TO BE ARRESTED AS WELL, THAT I PAID THEM THE MONEY THEY WERE DEMANDING. I have received the same call, 2 weeks ago, I was very ill at that time and ask them to call me back, I tried to call the number from my caller ID back ,got no answer, then 2 weeks later they leave a message on my ma****e, I called back and asked them for paperwork work regarding this case, and I told them I am not paying anyone with a debit or credit card, only with amoney order, if the paperwork seems to be in order. They are supposed to be sending me paperwork, we will see. I am going to consult with an attorney friend.

The guys name was Brock Johnson or Jeff Marks both are foreign speaking threatened me with a law suit for a 300.00 payday loan that I did not get. I did apply but cancelled did not continue. I have my bank statements and nevered recieved money from them.

This is a scam.  They have called me as well.  Contact the FBI or Secret Service.  They are calling from India and no one is going to arrest you.  In fact when I talked to the secret service one of their agents was receiving this same call at the secret service office.  Do Not call them back.

He says that the message that I (he then says my full name) am about to recieve is extremely time sensitive and that if I or my lawyer do not call him in his division at 661-210-4685, Friday morning he is going to send two of his legal officers to my residence and they are going to ****** me and my two references to the court house where I will face a big legal mess. But if I do not want to have to deal with the legal issue I must call him or have my lawyer call him. I don't even know who this person is and he doesn't really state who he is calling for or anything but I did try to call the number he gave but when I call it sounds like someone picks up but then I get a long beeping sound like a fax ma****e.

Tam I can't believe what I am finding on the internet about these people!  They called me on my cell several times, then at work on my work phone several times trying to scare me into taking care of a payday loan debt that I don't have.  They won't tell me anything about the debt saying they don't have the information.  I just keep ****ing up and they just keep calling me back.  They even tried to get me to verify my social security number and supposedly transferred me to a "manager" when I said I wouldn't verify anything!They say they are from the "Law Offices of...." but I can't ever get the name spelled out so I can understand it.  They supposedly represent National Payday Services.

This Jessica Jones has been calling and harrassing my 19 yr old daughter over a payday loan she never got, and she left a message stating it was for $1000 she finally caught my daughter when she wasn't busy told her what her last 4 digits of ssn was, her last 4 digits of her bank account number was and she had not paid it back and she would be arrested in the morning if she didn't show up in court. Scared the heck out of my daughter. So I call the *** number and it says the verizon number is no longer available, this is the # that comes up on the caller id and Verizon checks it out and says it looks like it was c****ed over 7 days ago but still they are calling my daughter from it. Jessica Jones leaves the messages telling her to call the 661# so I call it and while verizon is on the phone with J Jones I'm on the phone with another of their employees and I told her my I had all of my daughter's bank statements she never got a loan from them deposited in her account and that I filed a report with the FBI, Verizon and would be going to my local police in the morning and that they better not call my daughter a***n and she says let me talk to Amy and I said you aren't talking to Amy you are talking to her Mother and I am taking care of this from now on. John Doe This is hardly a company, this is a Scam. Every call is different but the same. The name of the company c****es and the names of the employees c****e; but the same scare tactics remain. They state that there are companies that are going to sue you and put you in jail. Then they try and squeeze you for information and get your banking information and take your money. I have done a little research and it seems that the group was operating out of California, but now they are in Tampa, Florida area. They have several cell phones with all different area codes and numbers. Every time you call one of them it is the same guy it seems. If you catch them unaware them you will get a woman who's name also c****es frequently. These idiots called me Tuesday and told me that I owed money and that if I didnt pay that the FBI would be after me and that they would come to my work and that I had a court date and that I was being charged with fraud and theft and that carries a felony!....Then they called my work a***n today and my work told them not to call back! Now I have taken action!

This is a possible Nigerian scam.  They will call you at every number you have listed on the internet or from other resources.  They will try and intimidate you by claiming that you owe some company money and that the police will show up at your doorstep to arrest you if you don't pay money to them right away.  They also tell you that you will be taken to court tomorrow.  They use a fake name and their accent is obviously of African decent.  I have dealt with some scammers before but this is the first time that I have been threatened verbally on the phone.  Report these people immediately to the United States Secret Service or the Federal Trade Commission.
