I got three calls back to back from an officer claiming to be officer Oldby from the Covington Police Department. I tried to call back. It just gave the prompt to leave a message or consent to calls and text from that number.

Bill Have gotten numerous calls on home phone. Answered the first couple times before checking caller id. They usually s**** with a line about whether I'm interested in going to college and need tuition money. I tell them I'm not interested and please drop my number from their list. Must be deaf or fail to comprehend English. Calls persist, but no answer without checking caller id first. What a nuisance. Now, I've s****ed getting the same calls on my cell phone. Have also had a couple calls mention that they found recent visits to online job search sites, so were curious if I was interested in going back to school. Sounds like the websites claiming to be job search databases may be collection points for names/phone #'s for spammers. Don't know anyone being hired from one of these "job search" sites. Also, the cell companies (selling?) our info to these leeches hasn't done much to ease the nuisance factor. Need a program to block the spammers or a code number to enter that would completely disable their equipment. Maybe we could all get a break from the****ault then.
