I was ****ed into this by false pretenses. I was texted a message that a valuable package had not been delivered and by clicking the supplied address I could direct them to a time that I would be available. I was directed to a survey page with the promise of a prize for completing the survey. The survey, being from a service I subscribed to, I answered the survey and then selected my prize. I was charged $ 9.95 for shipping and handling. I then worried that this was a scam and therefore, this check-up on the number used to contact me.
