These people have been calling me since i got this number for my apartment. Its been 5 years already, haven't they got the hint. I even tried blocking their number.
This was an Indian middle eastern man and I returned his call from my computer phone to 703 656 9845 and a person answered not a computer, but never return a call unless it is from a numberless phone or they will have your number no matter how you try to block it, it is so annoying
AACC called and wanted personal information trying to collect a debt
Has called seven times in four days and has yet to leave a message.
Getting repeated unknown calls from 703-656-9845, often calls and says nothing, which shows me it is a computer call. Sometimes a voice tries to ask for someone, but can't understand them well as they are foreign. The id says aacc.
Asset Acceptance. Don't know why and don't care.
They called many times a day for the wrong people. Then they called for me after about the 50th time. They had a old address I lived at years ago, and my Social Security number. They said they were collecting a debt for South Western SBC, ( Which I have never had a account with or know who they are) so I pulled my credit report and they are not on there. I called the Attorney General and they said that they can not find a address to contact this company but have received other complaints and is working on this. So I would suggest all to go threw the Attorney General and make a complaint. I did cause how many people are just trying to keep their credit good and then get a phone call from this place a pay? Remember just cause they got a address or your Social Security number does not mean they are legit!!
I called the number back and it was Usacceptance. Anyone know what that is? They call at least 4 or 5 times a week, asking for someone that does not live here and never has.
This is****et Acceptance, a debt collector who calls here daily. Although they have been told in no uncertain terms THREE TIMES that the person they are calling for does not live here, they keep right on calling. EVERY DAY. I am not the indiviual they are looking for, but that simple concept is evidentially too difficult for their staff to comprehend. Aready filed a complaint with the FTC, which is an exercise in futility.
calls once or twice every day
i peak up the phone the dont say nothing so i close the phone
THEY DIDN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE..

Got a call from this number at 10:46PM at night!!! And not only that, they called twice, in a row. No way was I picking up that call. And now, after doing research on the origin on the phone number, ingles I didn't pick up. I don't have any credit yet. I've never had a credit card nor a loan, and I just s****ed school so I don't have to s**** paying my school loans for another 5 years. I'll check my credit report to make sure these losers aren't *****ing it up. Check your credit!!!!
This person/company has called every day for the past month. They always leave a couple second blank voice message before ****ing up when I ignore it. When I try to answer, a man with a heavy accent says so****ing (I can't understand what he is trying to say) and when I ask him to repeat what he said he ****s up.
they will often look for people with a name similar to yours and use your name and****ign you some other persons debt. I had this happen to me. They could not verify it and it had to be removed. a good majority of the time the debt they are trying to collect are past the statue of limitations. or in this case to a person who it did not belong to in the first place. monitor your credit report closely
Asset Acceptance trying to collect an aged debt. They sold this collection before. Now they have it back a***n. I am in the process of reporting them to our state Attorney General. It is a $2500 fine for each offense of re-aging a debt.
I got a call from this number and my wife answered it and they were trying to collect a $299 land line debt from 2004. LOL I have NEVER had a land line and I was living with my parents at the time.
These folks will call and NOT leave messages--which they're supposed to do. A legitimate collection agency will leave a message, the purpose of their call and a contact number. Also, they must have a caller ID with their number to identify themselves so you can see who is calling. Anything other than what I mentioned is absolutely unacceptable and illegal. ADVICE:1. Do not answer calls that do not show their name on their caller ID. As a matter of fact, do NOT answer any calls that you are unfamiliar with the number, area code, etc. If you can, write the number down and research the number FIRST in a reverse check through sites like 411.com, etc. You can even google the number and it will possibly show you who the caller may be. 2. If the number you research is identified as a collection agency. Refer to your credit report and make sure they are not showing on your report. If they are, dispute, dispute, dispute!!! Put the burden of proof on the agency to show what you supposely owe them. They have 30 days to respond, otherwise they are accountable for removing themselves off your credit bureau. Please keep in mind, that agencies such as****et Acceptance, Regional Acceptance, etc, buy their collections from other companies. These companies only keep their records up for 2 years max and discard. You do not owe these agencies squat. If you owe another company they represent, and you are aware that the account is well past the 2-3 year mark, dispute it and have them provide the burden of proof. If for some reason, the account they are collecting on is past 7 months, they are not legally allowed to collect and will need to remove the item from your Bureau.3. Please read up on FCRA policies and laws. Arm yourself with knowledge as it's the best weapon you have a***nst collection agencies that are not abiding the laws. Should any of them threaten you, your property, report them as this is illegal as well and you may be owed compensation for their harrassing you. In some case, the award could be as high as $1000 or more providing you have all your ducks in a row. If these companies continually call to harrass you, and you are NOT their intended target, advise them in a certified letter that you are reporting them to the FCC and any instance you record after your last warning will be $500 a whack thereafter. Trust me, they will remove you off their list.Consumers are protected. The laws are in place. Use them.
I got a call from them. They are trying to collect an 11 year old debt. I'll report them to the Attorney General for re-aging of old debt.
The name of the place is****et acceptance. They are debt collectors.

I asked where he was calling from because I did not recognize the 703 area code, he said "Michigan". (?) I informed him he had the wrong number and asked him to never call a***n.
