will not stop calling even when you tell them they have the wrong number.

Called twice this morning in the last 5 minutes -- answered the first time but not the second time. Said that I was given as a legal reference - told the lady that I could not understand her and finally ***g up on her. She wanted me to call them back which I did not and will not do!

These people have become a real annoyance. They are trying to collect for a debt that I never made. I dont know who the***** they think they are. I will not pay for a debt that I never made. Also my credit card was stolen and reported to the police but they are insistant that I pay for this debt. I am tired of being harassed by these SOB's. I want to get them to stop. It has been over 10 years since the theft took place. And by law I am not obligated to pay this debt. How do I make them stop calling me?

Legally they cant put it on my credit (past 7 Years) and they cant sue me as there is a statue of limitaions on civil suits (in most states 2 to 6 years average is 4 years). They just want you to promise to pay or even make a small payment so they can sue you. Read there mission statment. Dont fall for it laugh at them. Dont tell them you will pay them and for god sake read the law DONT PAY them a dime. They will burn you and your good intentions. You will get your bank account seized in a silent legal action and spend years and lots of time fixing it. Laugh and **** up Know the Law. Google search staute of limitaions for credit card debit and read the Fair Credit Reporting act. Dont be a *****.

Talked very fast on the voice mail -- never did say who they was calling or who they was. Not the first time they have called here == always the same.

on my caller id its named****et acceptance with this number. my phone has been  is listed under initials for years so i c****ed it to include my whole name in order to not receive these calls that have nothing to do with me!!! THey are still calling!

I have been recieving these phone calls daily............numbers a time and NO ONE SPEAKS ON THE OTHER LINE. However I did call back the number the left me the first few times they called and we told them to STOP!  This is the number 1-888-500-2534............it's free and if you have time, give them a call and see how things are going!  They don't seem to bother calling us!

Phone rang, I picked up but no one answered. They stayed on the line silently about 10 seconds then ***g up. Caller ID listed the caller as AACC.

This Phone Number Keeps showing up on my phone, I am tired of them calling here. they don't say nothing just call.

Called at 7:38pm. Identified as "Out of area". We don't answer the phone if we don't recognize who it is.

Some person called from this number with a heavy middle eastern accent, there were people talking in the background and the line was staticy. They asked for my husband, tried to verify our address and said we had a past due account with some utiltiy company. Could not understand the name so hubby asked him to spell it multiple times and the person ***g up on him. We have no past due balances with any utility company or unpaid bills with any utility company. Seemed like a phishing expedition to me.

This number calls 3-4 times everyday.......................

This phony unlicensed to do business in Arizon s***bag collection agency, aacc has harassed meby calling me over six times in April 2010 alone and never leaves a message as well. Iam on theDO NOT CALL LIST and have an unpublished and unlisted telephone number and Iam disabled soI donot need this HARASSMENT By aacc and will take legal action to stop it.

Called and asked to speak to a specific person and I told them no one by that name lived here.  He said he would remove the number from the list.  He sounded as if he were from India.

They was very hard to understand --talked with an accent - also wanted information that I do not give out on the phone -- went so far as to wanting to know how much we get a month even after being told we are on a fixed income!

Bill - SOL in Calif. is only 4 years. AACC likes to harrass people. If they can't get you on the phone, they will call you repeated every day. They are also in other states, Ohio and Texas are two of them.

This is Account Acceptance Corporation as you have previously stated and they buy old debts and try to collect on them using their state laws in Ilinois and New Jersey and I think Florida as well to collect the debt but if you are in California the statue of limitations is only 5 years.  I don't answer the phone call because they can get very threatening from the research I have done on them.  I don't even acknowledge them or give them a reason they have the right account holder.  The account they are trying to collect is an old Montgomery Ward account I had years ago which was paid off as a result of iden***y theft.  it was written off a long time ago and yet they bought the account and have been trying to collect from me for over 7 years now.  They just keep selling it back and forth. Well, I guess these people have to have jobs too because if they weren't being employed by AACC that would be 1 last job.

This # keeps calling my office phone looking for someone who does not (and has never) been employed here.  I have told them this several times but they keep calling back hoping to find him here.  Annoying, the next time they call I'm going to give them an earful!

They even call at 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning. I never answer calls when I don't know who it is, but they call infrequently, but often enough to bug the***** out of me. Wish I knew who it was. Sometimes I pick up and don't say anything and there's nothing there.
