Leave a CommentI did press 2 four different times and they still call.
I have received several calls from the National Energy Coalition and live in the Tampa area. They will not offer much information about themselves and won't take me off their no call list. I made two appointments with them. The first time I gave them the address to the county jail. The second time I gave them the address to the Consumer Advocate office. Hopefully they won't call a***n.
Nov 26th....This number has called at least once per day for the last week or more, and to get rid of them, I finally listened to the message a couple of days ago, and pushed 2 to "decline their offer" so that I would not be contacted anymore... Well, they called a***n the next day, even after I had declined to be contacted a***n and had "opted out" per their directions (pressing 2). I didn’t answer the call this time. When they called the following day , I intentionally pushed 1 to talk to a customer service representative on the phone just so I could "politely" talk to a real person and request to be removed from their call-list (After all, I am already registered on all "Do not call" lists). Even though I was really mad after being barraged with a battery of daily calls from this "scam" company, I was very polite. I merely asked the girl to “please remove me” from their call list because I was being inundated with calls everyday and I was not interested in their offer. She said a few words and then ***G UP ON ME. They called a***n this morning and woke me up.... Now I’ve had enough… If they want to play games and invade people's privacy and abuse the phone system and ignore FTC rules and regulations (the law). then I'll be sure to cost this company (that never identifies itself) some of THEIR time and money...Next time they call, I will go ahead and make a "fic***ious" appointment at a non-existent address just to find out what company this is to report them to the FTC. (For the address, I’ll use Google maps to find a location where there is just undeveloped land with trees and squirrels and send them there!) Happy trails!I advise the rest of you to also "cost this company THEIR time and money" since they are a scam to begin with (likely ripping many people off as I type this) and they are breaking the law by repeatedly calling ***dreds of people everyday even after politely requesting to be taken off their “robot call system:. I have also read similar postings on the internet that others have been ***g up on when asking to be removed from their list.IMPORTANT* Check out these FTC links as well …You can also file a complaint.http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/phonefraud/robocalls.shtmlhttps://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
I pressed 2 several times and they continue to call
I am concerned this may be a scam. I mistakenly gave information and they siad I would qualify for a refund from the government for $3500.00. Someone is to come to my home Friday 11/26/10 @ 1:00 PM.Please contact me at 713-462-2712. I will cooperate in way to stop these people. The number they called from is: 713-231-3472. Their mailbox is full so I could not reach them.
Read my post. I wouldn't let them in.The phone number belongs to a pre-paid cell phone, no doubt to minimize traceability. Not exactly above board.
National Enegery Coalilition . Is this a scam? They are sending someone to my home Friday 11/26/10 at 1:00.
I listened to the message, then "pressed 1" to speak with someone. The female rep claimed the National Energy Coalition is not subject to NDCL as they are a non-profit "contracted by ***dreds of alternative energy producers" to educate consumers on how to save money through a "no-cost home energy audit."Primary message was "Aren't you tired of putting profit in energy companies pockets? Aren't you tired of being ripped off." Same message leftist message coming from the Obama cult.I challenged the female rep with information that I just negotiated a flat $0.10 kWh ***e with Reliant energy, which is saving me 40% on my energy expense and I did it with a phone call. I stressed the value of free-market compe***ion, and challenged the market value of wind energy as it is not viable without government subsidies, meaning my tax dollars. She ***g up on me. Liberal socialist swine.Take time to listen to the message, press 1 and help educate THEM on the value of free-markets and the lies about renewable energy being more economical.
Recorded message about getting stimulus money for insulation, etc. Company never identifies itself, only offers "free consultation".
And that's good advice for people who listen to the message. Those of us on the federal and Texas do not call list already made it clear we don't want to be annoyed by these telemarketing maggots in the first place. If the government would actually enforce the fines, these annoying calls would stop quickly.
If you listen to the end of the minute-long message (I finally did after ****ing up on these idiots at least 6 tims this week), the last thing they offer is "to be removed from all future calls and lose out on tyour portion of the stimulus money, press 2."So... next time, press 2.
It says it is the National Energy Coalition. They are constantly calling us. I c****ed their caller id on the phone to "do not answer" so my family knows to leave it. They are really getting on my nerves. Not half an hour after they called the house phone, they called my office phone.
Had this on my caller id but calling it back has no results.
This number has called many times with the same recording. I want them to go away!
This recording keeps calling us saying we can qualify for a stimulus package from the government. They won't stop calling us!!!!!
