I keep getting a call from this number.  I called them back and they said they were 3 lawsuits a***nst me.  I have no idea what they were talking about.  I got my home address and they said they also had my SS#. How do I stop these people for calling me?

They are calling me at my job.  I am reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission and my attorney.I want these people stopped.

does anyone know how to make them stop calling..i am having the same issue with these idiots!!

Have received several phone calls from a man named Andrew Brown in the last couple of days.  Says he is from Attorney Based Collections.  Scam about a legal case a***nst me.  Have blocked number but they seem to find other numbers to call from and represent thmeselves as other people from other companies.  How can I get this to stop?

I also received a call from a Mr. Brown who has said that he is with the protection agency (give me a break!) He cannot get his story straight. This is clearly a scam. They continue to call me and I want it to stop.

I got a call today from this # saying he was Neil Watson a paralegal for Morgan &****oc. and that I am being sued for a loan that I supposedly recieved, and when they tried to pull the funds from my bank account the funds were not available. This man than transferred me a so called lawyer and just read to me all the charges I'm being charged with. So funny how those charges sounded so familiar because those were the same charges they read to my husband (which was me just pretended to be my husband) they had no clue that i was who i wasn't. Anyways they told me I had to pay $422 for a loan that I recieved in Jan. 2010. That is so funny because the bank name they mentioned I didn't open till February 2010. Oh yeah and if I didn't pay the loan I was going to end up having to pay $3000. Needless to say I am way to smart to fall for this B.S so I told them this is all fraud. His reply was "if this is fraud, don't call us back" I was like you called me you *******

I just received a voicemail from this number.  The person called himself "Andrew Brown" and he said he was from an internet-based collection agency, but didn't say which one.  I've received a plethora of calls from other numbers saying I owe money for a payday loan that I never requested.  This has been going on for two months.  I block the numbers, but these people just find other numbers to call from.  To say this is frustrating is an understatement!

This is a scam! Do not give these people any information and make sure to report them to the authorities. I also have been getting harrassing phone calls from them. I heard that they get all your info from online payday loan companies. Please do not send them any money!

"Thomas Cook "called (in a heavy middle eastern or asian accent)and siad we would be advised NOT to ignore his   extremely  time sensitive call and  do not try to disregard this call. If we do not return the call or he does not receive a call from our attorney, GOOD LUCK as the situation unfolds on us  Used the first name of our son whom is in the military

Very rude with an Indian accent, however, American names.  Told me not to ignore his message and that if I did not call him back or my attorney of record, then all he could do was wish me luck.  I had the same thing happen with another number and I was told that it was a scam and not a debt collector.  If you can find the carrier, you can get the number disconnected.  The other number was 805-500-4567.

I have been receiving calls from this number on a daily basis at work and at home.  The guy that cals is very aggressive and rude and personally to me kind of threatning.  He will continue to call 5 & 6 times in a row...they are aggressive, rude and always say that I owe them money and they will get it.  He also advises it is not wise for me to ignore his calls, always wishesme Good Luck and then ends with "God Bless " you.  How do we get these callers to stop?  There must be away!!

I am so tired of these people calling me. At home, work and thru my friends. I love the line "As the situation unfolds around you"  They have called me at least 10 times in the last 2 days between home and work and I am tired of it. Is there anything we can do legally to get them to stop calling?

Got a call from someone named Alex Matthews, with an****istant named Johnny Butler (names did not match the accent), with heavy middle eastern accent claiming he was a lawyer collecting a charged off debt.  He had good information about me.  I do not have a charged off debt.  He was rude and threatened me with a lawsuit for bank fraud.   Asked that I fax him a signed do***ent allowing him to collect money from a prepaid credit card.  Would not give me any more information.  I did not send him anything as the nature of the call was very suspecious.  Be careful and do not send this person any do***ents or infortion.

Got a call saying that I am being sued for a pay-day loan. Very rude and agressive. I did not take out a payday loan. The callers are men with a heavy accent but American like-names like, "Johnny Butler". Said was calling from a law firm called Moore and****ociates but number and organization does not match. Called BBB in California and they did not identify the number or organization with the state and city.
