I got an invoice for a long distance call placed from my land line. I have not had long distance service for a few years so I tried to call them (they used official looking Sprint invoice). I got an answering ma****e. I figured it was a scam.

FIve calls in the last 48 hours; they never left a message. When phone was answered, they said the call was pertaining to a civic event a resident had parti****ted in before. They seemed to be looking for donations. They were told not to call back; we will see if that is effective.
