I received a call from 800-798-0829 Telling me they were thee Social Security and my Social Security was being suspended and a warrant was issued for my arrest.
Freaked Out Citizen Received a call from this number. Claimed to be from the electrical utility's discount dept. However, the tel # given DOES NOT MATCH what appears on the actual utility bill! A quick review of the internet confirms this caller is questionable. Please beware! If you're actually interested in the utility's discounts, call the actual # that appears on your own bill!

These people have harrassed me over someone else's debt, someone I do not know, and have never known. Every time I tell them this, they apologize and tell me that they will remove my phone number from their list, but then I receive more phone calls from them about it days or weeks later, only to be told the same thing.I submitted a complaint about this to the Federal Trade Commission. Call to my cell phone. Shows restricted #. Recording states that my debit card has been suspended and to call 800-798-7792 or press 1 to be connected. When pressing 1, you are prompted to enter your 16 digit card #.. I called the 800 number provided, it prompted to press 1 to activate. I ***g up.

Same thing... they claim they have a package from UPS... a Tax Rebate Check from a Student Loan... thing is, I DON'T go to school!! .. I'm NOT expecting any Tax Rebate.. and even if I was, wouldn't the IRS just send he check? Why call and ask questions? FYI, they have also called my phone from an actual UPS Store # 414-273-7780 .. when I call back the manager answers.. He informed me that they do this by S****ING... Google It... "S****ing by Caller ID" ... They go to a website and pay to disguise their phone# so you THINK they really are calling from UPS or wherever.... WATCH OUT!!!
They have called me about a dead relatives debt ***dreds of times in the last year. They wont send any itemized summary of charges or what the original bill was if there was any. So they just want me to send them 25,000 dollars with no statement. Why are these people not in jail or being investigated.
