Automated voice mispronounced my name - then an Automated message about an "urgent business matter" and was told to call the number back and ask for Mrs. Woods.
my significant other's mother (o.O) got a call from Wes Richards. Same phone number, same ***ue related subject. wouldn't specify what he was looking for aside from me. I sure would like to know how he got my bf's mother's contact info?!?!?!?!?!
A year later, they are still using that Navigator scam.It's a scam for Royal Palm Travel. found the same type of message on my ma****e, very carefully worded, calling in regard to the contest I entered to win a Lincoln, looking at you entry, have good news, but stops short of saying You have won anything, have not tried to return the call, after reading these comments I probably won't. I have a basic rule if you call my house and get the ma****e you had better say who you are,who you represent, and who it is at this number you are calling.
This number ID'd as a 'Toll Free Service'. She left a message for a couple of my neighbors who are clearly listed in the phone book. This was at 8pm. My neighbors phone number is clearly listed online and in the book. Thinking it may actually be a legitimate call I had no trouble calling their phone to relay the message. The message stated the call was "...very, very important..."(stated my neighbors names and their address)"...call Janet at 1-800-821-1265 ext. 61510"I don't know why this person called my home. No one at my residence is related to our neighbor. No one at my residence has any business dealings with our neighbors nor would our phone number or names be listed with anything of our neighbors. And if it was Greentree calling as some of the others commented here, we've never dealt with Greentree.
