Scammer debt collector

Called from number in Illinois. Left message identifying himself as Ryan Sykes. Requested I call him at this number (in South Carolina) and use a reference number. Did not state the purpose of his call or identify who he represented. He called after 5PM. Suspect a scam. Did not return his call.

They left no message. When I called them back, I got a voice mail box for Carmen. I think this is one of those 'lower your interest rate' scams.

No clue who they are. They called my cell, but did not leave a message. Other sites report this is a debt collector, Williams and something. No clue why a debt collector would call me.

Unsure Calls my number but never leaves a message. Called my husband to ask for me but would not tell him what they wanted, so my husband gave him no info. Only know the name is Terry something. Told my husband he has been trying to call me for six months, but when I checked my phone there were only 2 calls from that number so I do not know who it is or what they want. Maybe one day he will leave a voice message but until then the call will not be answered. I do not answer numbers I am not familiar with

I received a call on my cell phone for my stepson (who does not use my cell - we don't live in the same household!). They refused to identify themselves till I told them they are required by federal law to do so. It was Williams and Fudge. I gave them my stepson's cell number and told them to remove my cell number immediately and that if I heard of them calling anyone else in our family that I will make sure they are reported to the State Attorney General in our state and the state they are operating out of. By the way - they are in Rock Hill, South Carolina. It really was their bad day when they called me as I am a professional researcher.

Pieces of trash. An online school tried to charge me for attending at extra semester when I dropped almost 2 months prior. The school realize this and dropped the balance, but not before they sent it to a collection agency who now won't stop calling. Agents there claim that they have received no word from the school, however I have a fax copy of the zero balance and was copied on a letter and email directly to them....Scum of the Earth.

Just received a call from a female claimiing to be a debt collector. This is a bogus call - possible illegal activity from Rockhill, SC. Caution: Do not give out any personal information and inform the caller that you have legal repsentation. For more information go to the Fair Debt Collection Protection Act and check your credit report for free at AnnualCreditReport dot com. Stagger the reports - one every 4 months.

Does anyone recognize 803-326-1118?  I am getting calls for the person who had my number before me and I can't get them stopped.

I received a call also on my cell phone.  The caller didn't identify themselves either.

When the machine picked up caller hung up.
