From the things written, it sounds like these guys are a scam collection agency from overseas using "Magic Jack" to get a U.S. number and appear to be calling from inside the U.S. This type of scam agency is typically collecting on an Online Pay Day Loan where the debtor provided all their information online (SSN, Address, Work Number, etc.) and the Online PayDay Company sold or gave this information to the highest bidder. Beware: online PayDay Loan companies are the easiest way to get your iden***y stolen. The good news is that, these scam agencies are ****ing smoke and will never do any of the things they threaten to do. The bad news is, you can sue them till you are blue in the face and never get a dime. If you have questions about other collection agencies, talk to an FDCPA attorney in your area. I used Richard Meier (www.meierllc.com) for the other collection agencies that were bothering me and he not only got them to stop calling me but he made them pay me money for what they did - and I did not have to pay Attorney Meier anything.
