Leave a CommentScam!!! Do not give credit card info!!!
the usual 'Credit Services' type call, recording. S****ing number.
I also got one of these calls and when pressed to remove my phone number, which I would not give was told to do some of the same things as others. It looks like the DNC does not exempt us from such scams and trash. I hope that they can be caught and have to face some serious legal consequences.I have the phone number and also so****ing that appears to be a bit more than the employee number.Lets hope the government can find a way to spare us such problems in the future - though I see this number has been in business at least 2 years. If everyone inundated the State and Federal government with our concerns, it may help - be sure to speak up, they just hope we won't bother.
no message
experian would leave a message.they dont collect debt.most likely a scammer wanting to steal your id.i recently filed a complaint with them about an inacurrate mark on credit report.scammers somehow have a way to intercept emails and read them.
a womans voice ,sounded like she was engaged in intimate act with someone .
I got a call from this number, pushed 9, told the guy to get my number off, he yelled at me to stay on for 2 minutes to get my number off and then made ************ sounds...sickening. It was truly disgusting.
ID showed "Florida". Call was a recording. Sounded like a scam to get credit card info
Said they were calling re: my credit card account. I didn't listed to anymore and ***g up.
Caller ID reads Florida. Does not leave messages.
S****ed Phone number used: 813-999-000. The phone company is able to reverse s**** the number, but they won't give it to you. The FCC must stop this it is a violation of our national security since they ask for Social Security Numbers and Credit Card numbers.
I let the answering ma****e pickup-no message so don't know what the call was about. Area code of 813 is Tampa Fl. We are on the do not call list which doesn't seem to be worth anything............
Tried to get credit card information, possible iden***y theft
Have called quite a few times, just **** on line and do not talk.
They said they would lower my intrest on my credit card balance. Stop calling my number.813-999-0000
BEWARE of these calls coming from Florida and wanting to consolidate your credit cards and reduce your finance charges!! A friend received such a call a couple of months ago and the caller already had all of her credit card numbers and balance information. Even though she instructed them to do nothing with any of her credit cards, they billed her a hefty sum on one of her credit cards. Now she is having a difficult time getting the charge removed! BEWARE!
man with forgien accent identified himself as "Chris". I asked to speak with his supervisor and he asked if I wanted to lower my credit card rates. I told him that I don't have any credit cards and that I wanted to speak to his supervisor. He cursed and ***g up. Tried to call the number which caller id said was FLORIDA and got a recorded message. WHY can't we get so****ing done about this bothersome calling. Surely people don't fall for these scams.
Even with a Te***apper this call came through. Did not answer it but don't know exactly WHY they phoned. No message left. "Name Unavailable"
To lower my credit card rate. The recording says it is your final notice but I have gotten at least 25 final notices. I dialed the '9' and screamed at the person who was from another country. It made ME feel better.
The caller ID listed the number (which has probably been "s****ed" as calling it back leads to a phone company message that "[my] call cannot be completed as dialed.") and the display simply read "Florida" (the 813 area code is around Tampa).I answered and heard a recording telling me it was my final chance to lower my payments on my credit cards. I get about one call a week with the same message (even sounding like the same voice), but the caller ID shows a different number each time.I have not had any credit cards since a bankruptcy over 10 years ago (I do use debit cards). These appear to be robocalls to anyone and everyone.I stayed on the line to speak to an operator, just for the***** of it. I asked him why they were calling me since I was on the Do-Not-Call list. He told me they were exempt from the DNC regulations because they were not telemarketers. When I said, "oh really, what are you?" he told me "we are a company that lowers interest rates and payments on credit cards." (!) I decided enough was enough and terminated the call.I have a feature where I can block calls from any given number (a very handy feature, and I urge you to get it if you can--many VOIP providers offer it--mine is Phone Power). So as soon as I get one of these calls, I block that number. My call logs will show ten or fifteen attempts from this nember over the next week. Then I will get the same call, same recording, with a different number on the caller ID.
Did not answer, but later I tried the number to see who would answer. I got a phone company message stating that this was not a number and check my number and dial a***n.
I returned this call and got a message from the phone company that this is an invalid number. They keep calling when I am not home and when I call back to tell them to stop calling I get this same invalid number message from the phone company. Sincerely, Charles R Danner
Showed up as Florida.Call received at 11:14 am.
called twice in a row with no message...showed up as "Florida"
The same with me...., I get a call from 1 813 999-0000 (florida) and w***ver is on the line says Nothing at all.
Calls but does not leave a message. I have Caller ID. Been getting lots of calls with no message....
i spoke with someone who spoke broken English when i told them that i had already spoken with someone there and asked them to take me of of their call list and also told them that i am also on the national do not call list they asked me why i was so upset so i explained it a***n he also said that i sounded so good on the phone that i shouldn't be upset and that's when he ***g up
Caller claimed to be from Experian and was offering to work with major credit card companies to reduce rates, etc.
nevers leaves any message
doesn't leave message, I also am on the do not call list
Often comes up on Caller ID as "Florida". Same ID will call from various numbers. Doesn't leave message on answering ma****e.
Keeps calling.
I got the same recorded message, but I went ahead and pressed "9" simply because I have NO credit cards. (Hilarious that they called a home with no credit cards...AND I happen to work for the Nation's Largest Credit Card issuer! ****** Telemarketers) I was patched through to a telemarketer who said his name was so****ing I forget. But I imediately asked the company name where he was calling from. He told me "Account Services out of Orlando Florida." I then asked to speak to a supervisor who was conviniently "unavailable." I told them my number is on the NDNCL (National Do-Not-Call List) as well as my locat State's DNC list. I then told them I work for the nation's largest credit card issuer and I want to know the name of the company he gets his paychecks from. He then said he wasn't at liberty to give me that information. I then reminded him that indeed he IS at Liberty concidering if he knew anything about the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, he would know that as long as I wasn't asking about a specific account he can and actualy MUST tell me what company he works for. A***n, he attempted to avoid the question. I then told him to imediately remove this number from their calling lists as it is also a violation of the National Do-Not-Call List to call any household on that list for the purpose of sales.
They had a lot of credit card information on me wanted 600.00 to lower my interest rates now can't call them back on number they called me on
Caller does not leave a msg when the answering ma****e picks up.
Have called my house numerous times. Im on the do not call list so I finally pressed 9 and asked what the company name was. The foreign caller claimed the company's name was Account Services (obviously not). I asked what they're address was and he said "thanks for wasting my time sir" and he ***g up. Pretty ticked off right now.
bothersome & rude
Did not answer
