Young girl. Very hard to hear. Believe she mentioned a clothing line out of Alabama. They did have my name though. Kept trying to get me to answer yes to a question. When I would not and told them to tell me what the call was about they ***g up.

Anonymous Calls multiple times a day, every day and just ****s up.

I keep getting calls from this (847) 507 numbers. The last 4 numbers keep c****ing. They never leave a message. I have tons of numbers that s**** out with 507 blocked.

MRS.P I got a call from this number & when I picked up the phone, there was no one of the other end. When finally I just said What, then the person on the other end wanted to argue with me about, how I answered the phone, then I just ***g up.

Chungwoo It's the "save on electricity" folks a***n. They seem to have abandoned 847-592-8835.

Angel I see from the comments below, I'm not the only one receiving these calls plus from 224-255-3627. If anyone else out there is getting calls from both of these phone number, I got a fix. Call 866-246-7196 to give the caller's phone number (these 2 phone numbers are on their list) and the receiving phone number to add to the do not call list. It'll take a day or two to process but it works to stop the calls.

Marcelo I was getting so many calls, it was getting ridiculous, so I researched and found a solution! Call 866-246-7196 and first give the caller's phone number to confirm it's on their list that they provide this service to. Then give the receiving phone number and they'll add it to the do not call list.

Tony Left partial message saying to press five now, Caller ID just shows Caution. I****ume from comments this is an attempt to switch electricity supplier, I am not interested.

Car insurance spammer. Super persistent.

Rose Robo calls 3 and 4 times a day. I finally stayed on the line for a real person. Company is Power Choice; they claim to be a broken for Com-Ed. Person answering refused to give me his name. When I said I wanted to be taken off their list, he ***g up on me.

Erik I've gotten these calls and I don't even own a car so on Monday I searched for a way to stop these calls and found a comment for a do not call request service at 866-246-7196. The person I spoke to verified the caller's phone number on her list and added my receiving phone number to the do not call list. It took a couple of days but the calls did stop, whew.

Call this do not call service at 866-246-7196 and just give them the caller's phone number to verify it's on their list and the receiving phone number to add to the do not call list. It's fast, easy and it works!

David Earlier this week I had calls from another phone number and tried out a blog comment on how to stop the calls. Later that day, I got this phone number calling me so I called the same do not call center. I spoke to a person there who explained they provide this service for a small number of companies that call consumers that want to minimize complaints and save time not calling people who don't want to be called. It's a quick fix, just call 307 223 0458, give the caller's phone number to verify the number is on their list and your receiving phone number to have it removed from the caller's list.

Mark I've found that if you block this telephone number, the company probably will call you with another telephone number since your phone number is on their callers list. In the case for this telephone number, there is a do not call service; email to [email protected] or call 866-246-7196. Give them the caller's phone number to verify it's on their list to ensure this request is effective and give them your telephone number to remove it from all of the small number of companies they provide this service for. For these phone numbers it's a win/win; the caller minimizes complaints and saves their time/effort by not calling someone who doesn't want to be called and you get their calls stopped.

I got the call today from Karen VonSee (sp?). She was very pleasant and first s****ed leaving a voice message but then I picked up as I returned inside. As she repeated who she was she almost said the name of the company but abruptly hesitated and c****ed it to "a company that was expanding in to my area." She wondered if I needed employment (I don't, I'm retired) or could refer somebody, which I couldn't. She left her callback number as 847-584-0244, although the call came from 847-592-5592 with a Caller ID name of "HOLMES AND AST((ASSOCIATES))". They, with that number, are listed as being located in Hoffman Estates, IL and a link to their web site brings up Primerica. I used to have a 30 year term life insurance policy with them when they were known as MILICO but when it expired 10 years ago I got a new policy with another company. That is probably how they got my unlisted phone number, unless somebody else referred me to them.
