3/25/2011 Warning!! We have received numerous phone calls on our landline from this number over the past few months. After Googling the number, we realized it was a BAD solicitor. The one time we answered, a man asked for us using our last name only and ***g up after I asked "Who are you calling?"
Got a call from this number and they are a pain inthe a**
they keep calling you cannot call them back..just have the number blocked on your phone...it is so annoying and disruptive...if you speak to them do not give them once bit of information...do not give any infofrmation to people you do not recognize. just slam the phone.
Jane A message was left on my home number asking for me to return a call. The message explained that it was Shawn calling from First IRS and that it was in reference to name that sounded somewhat like one of my nieces names.A phone number 858-367-5371 and a file number was left.Today, a half day later, I first attempted to dial back this number and found out it was not a local phone number. Then I called it with my cell phone to avoid charges. The man named Shawn answered the phone directly. I explained I was returning a call and gave him the reference number he had left on my answering ma****e. He was able to go to that (?) file number. A***n he mentioned a name that was similar to my neice but not accurate. I asked where I was calling and was told SanDiego, CA. I asked if he knew where I was and he replied he didn't but that the person he was calling about was from Minneapolis. I asked if he could clarify the name of who he was calling about and ....Suddenly... another voice came on the phone.... I think I was informed it was a supervisor who told me the last name was a name I was familiar with and then they corrected the first name to my niece. I asked why they were calling and was told they couldn't give out third party information. I asked what business they were in and they said that was also third party information. I think I tried to explain that I'd like to know more about who was calling me before I gave any information and they ***G UP ON ME!!
