Rec'd call from 866-733-5306 on 6/27/09. Caller gave a rapid delivery asking for a donation to CRS (Children's Resources Services.) I asked how she got my number, she said random dialing. I informed her I was on the do not call list. She said it did not apply to CRS since they were a 501 C 3. I asked her if she was getting paid by a company to make the calls, she said yes. She never identified the company she actually worked for. She did give me her name when asked, most likely not real. The DO NOT CALL LIST exemptions DOES NOT apply to companies who make a profit calling for charities. I am reporting them for several reasons: covered in the Q & A for the National Do Not Call List – 8-page do***enthttp://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/alerts/alt107.pdfAre CRS (Children's Resources Services, Children’s Miracle Network, and the Kids Wish Foundation all the same charity?
