This is a guy named “Paul” calling to get donations to “The Police Officer’s Alliance,” which is not listed as a bonafide non-profit on the IRS website. “Paul” calls me 4 or more times a day even after I have asked him to leave me alone and after blocking his number, continues to call with other numbers. Very intrusive.

quizzle Please report this and fight Bank of America in writing. Can't trust anything they say over the phone and watch for hidden deadlines in any dispute/fraud forms they may send. File an FBI report and if BOA denies your claims (for both fraudulent transactions) report them to the OCC.govGoogle other consumer complaint boards and post your situation. I even posted on clark howard's website and a volunteer called me back with the OCC suggestion and further help. Bank of America's anti-consumer position on disputes is legendary. With Banks and debit cards you must fill out a certain dispute form (a***n within 60 days, if not sooner) and keep everything in writing and make copies. The bank may relent with a phone call but don't trust anything they say until you see it. Banks answer to various authorities, reporting them may take time but you should prevail in the end. Ask your bank for a refund of the debit charge until the dispute is resolved so you'll have the emergency funds you need. (still follow through with the written dispute)
