Told me I owed 2000 dollars on a credit card from 2008 but yet I paid them in 2015 James harris was the attorney and since I didn't answer my door at home they are now coming to my job to serve me court papers women was very rude I called back the number back to question who they were again and they said they were an answering service and the can forward me with my case number

They called my husband to get his information because he has a court date and they were going to arrest him

Had been trying to reach me they say they sent out 3 different letters all were returned and even asked for my social security number

They try to call me for an outstanding debt and when I told them it was pay off they were very off-putting. Then a few hours pass and they will hang up on me as soon as I have them my case number

Yup its a debt collector saying she's going to sue if I don't pay. From a debt that is not even mine

The guy said his name is “Alice” with Rona county process server and asked for “Wawa Lee”. A fake name I put on websites that asked for too much info and also my fake text free number. DO NOT GIVE OUT INFO TO THOSE PEOPLE. SCAM. FRAUD.

Called my son and claimed to be a private matter. Would not say how they got my son's number or the reason for the call.

Claimed to be unable to deliver documents to my home and that if I don't contact them court proceedings will continue without me. I did call them back, and once I told them I was going to contact the county Courthouse, they hung up and have not called back.

This caller said he was a representative from a HAP insurance, and the person they asked for don't live at my address.

They stated that there has been a change of status in the account under "my name". Then asked to please call her back at 888-488-0032. Then they hung up. I needed to replay the message 4 times in order to understand the entire message. This was because she spoke in a quieter voice and really fast.

Seems to be a Ziply Fiber call. No one ever said anything when I answered. I finally hung up after saying hello 3 times

Ziply Fiber took over for Frontier Communications. They were calling about a past due amount on my bill. I ignored the mailed notice because I thought it was junk mail.

Answered the call, said hello multiple times and heard nothing until they hung up.

Calls about 5 times a week. Says a name that's not mine and tells me to call back this number and quote a file number they give me.

They call and say "If you want to be removed from the call list, press 1 and hold". Then you're on hold almost forever and no one answers. Harmless but annoying.

This number dials my son's cell phone about 3 times a day, day time and late night times. He says the first time he answered, he didn't hear anything. Can they steal information when someone answers? Is there any way to block this number on a cell phone?

Frank Yup this is a collection agency.  Just paid my electric bill with them. The guy said a computer calls restricted because people who screen their calls don't answer if they see a collection agency calling. Pretty simple if you don't like paying your bills don't answer.

Alicia Correction: It's a collection agency, CBCS. Most of the time they will show as Restricted on my caller ID in which case I will not answer.  This number is their actual toll free number that they don't like giving out. :P

Alicia Had a call from them on 6/30 and one today 8/5. They never leave voicemail. The first time I got a call from them, I called the number back a bit later and a guy answered.  The way he answered sounded like it might be some kind of business, but I didn't catch his name, or the business name.  Called again on 8/5 after business hours and got a recording saying they were closed.  The recording doesn't state the name of the business or what their "normal business hours" are.  Seems rather dubious to me.

This number calls and demands to speak with people who do not reside with you. They then force you to call them back and will not reveal themselves.
