Leave a CommentIts BMO.
Got a call from "Claudio" from 1 888-676-2269.He said that my BMO Mastercard is due.First, I do NOT have a BMO accountSecond, I do NOT have a BMO Mastercard.Just as a precaution, I will go to a BMO ***nch and discuss it with their ***nch manager. From my point of view, this looks like a scam.
its BMO Mastercard for late payment.
!!! THIS IS A SCAM !!!I have been getting calls from several different numbers claiming they are BMO .. No one here deals with them. IF this was the actual BMO they would leave a msg or so****ing. This is a scam.. they are calling every half hour to hour. Ive talked to one person that actually spoke on the phone i asked for his employee number and name gave me a name but refused to give employee number. Ive worked for a telemarketing company and u have to give ur employee # when asked.... if your getting more then 3-4 calls in a row or a day call your phone company and get them to track everytime they call. If its still going on for a week or a few weeks ur phone company and send u the paper on how many times they have called and you take it to the cops!!!!
I have never banked with BMO yet they call me. **** your mom's socks you're the ignorant ******.
They say it's BMO- but this number has called 6 times in a row now this morning (one right after another) and it ****s up after one ring each time... ANNOYING) That said yes i owe BMO a payment on my CC LOL if the ex would pay his child support i could pay it!
I don't know if it really is BMO, and why they're calling, because someone in my household as a BMO account, but they called several times today, and the moment I pick up the phone, it ****s up. Pretty annoying... No one talk or anything... so if it really is BMO collection, why are they ****ing up when someone answer the phone ???
to nikki. you're a ******. **** it up.it's phishers trying to get your details. i received a clever letter teling me to call them even though I have not banked with bmo for at least 15 years.terrible letter: no letterhead, weak printing, incorrect data. quite funny actually, they even tried to print a barcode on it and some bogus account mini print on the bottom of the letter. hmm, i think i should call them. LOL
It's BMO collections. **** it up. However, some of their more ****head agents are leaving the wrong number on voicemail. 1-888-676-226*5* is Valley Bank. The helpful agents there know of the problem and are giving the right number ... 226*9*.
When I answered the phone, the lady calling me did not identify herself, nor did she mention who she is working for. She asked to speak to "FirstName LastName". The "LastName" is mine, but I do not know anybody by the "FirstName" she mentionned. A "FirstName" not even close to anybody in my family nor a****st my relatives! Was she fishing? Was she trying to get me to give away correct "FirstNames" in my household? Did someone create a false iden***y using my "LastName" my phone # and my adress?I used th *67 and dialed that phone # It answered "BMO Banque de Montreal". I ***g up and dialed the legitimate published "BMO Banque de Montreal" phone#1-877-225-5266. They confirmed that # 1-888-676-2269 belongs to them, at the collections dept, and that that phone # is not found on their website. She told me that "FirstName LastName" has my phone# in his contact list, that he owes the "BMO Banque de Montreal" money on a MasterCard and that he is in collection. I mentionned the fact that what is su****ious is that "FirstName LastName" used my "LastName" and phone # and that this is not a coincidence. They are well aware of the schemes used by con-artists, and agreed with me that what this man provided as information was fabricated. I insisted that they press criminal charges a***nst him.
I called BMO from the number on their website and I only have a credit card with them so it can't be anything else...They said they never called me and not to call back this number... if they really want to reach me, they will and they'll leave notes in my account if I call back !
That's bull. I answered after they called 8 time in the same day yes****ay and they asked for my husband who I told them wasn't home. They said it was BMO calling and that they wanted him to call them back at that number. When I asked them what it was regarding they wouldn't tell me. I know its bull cause my husband was just added to MY BMO account a month ago and is no way indebted to them.
I called them back and it is the BMO credit services, guess I'm late a payment, hehe
it's not fraud! I work for them. It is BMO and it's collections. You have a late payment(s) if you're getting calls from that number on either your mastercard or loans or your mortgage or so****ing.
Called me at my job (I don't even know where they had the number, I just s****ed) A guy called me to verify my informations. He asked me card# & expiration date (I didn't told him). NEVER GIVE ANYONE THESE INFORMATIONS!! I called BMO few minutes after, the girl told me that they NEVER call for these informations. It's a fraud!
I contact BMO already, they don't use this number. 888-676-2269 is a deceiver.
