I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.

Maybe people should pay their bills and these people wouldn't have to call you.

hey these people are ******ed. They call me 5 times a day threatening to take me to court over a  account with a bank...that i have nowpaid off twice. I did a little investigation...and legally in Ca***a, (Not sure about the US) you can sue these people with harassment because they are only allowed to call up to 3 times a week. They have asked me for mine and my mothers bank account information. somehow have gotten my cell phone number that is private and i know i havent given it out. People keep leaving these messages on my phone saying that i better pay or else? like come on. they have failed to send me a invoice or statement saying i owe this money. They have all my confirmation numbers saying i have paid this account and still harass me. I am not a threatening person and i definatly do not like being threatened. Like come on im Ca***ian im just nice. I am thinking this is a scam...sooooo dont give your finanical information out to these people...in my opinion they are crooks! I cant afford to pay it a***n...i have a 2 week year old and im 22 years old and living off maternity. Doubt im paying it a***n! Just be aware people!

These ****** ******s keep calling me saying they bought a bad debt of mine for $2000 and I am obligated to pay them.Well I ain't paying their dum***** anything, they shouldn't have bought the debt and calling me 9 thousand times a day and night ain't gonna make me bulge. If Ihad $2000 I would buy some groceries and s***s for my kids.  My job was eliminated like a lot of Americans these days and I have s****ped to make ends meet by working any job I can find but jobs these days are few and the pay is lousy. So Global Collection can kiss my a**.  Hopefully If I can get back on my feet in a few months, I will repay the original creditor not some ponds*** collection agency that keeps threatening me and my family. They said they plan to sue me, well I toldthem to go ahead, they still ain't gonna get nothing, ya can't get blood out of a turnip.I think if I went before a court and told them my situation, they would have great mercy on me.  I got no home no car no steady job no food no bank account No money so Global don't have a ******ll chance in Heck of getting one dime out of me.  I wish I could pay but I can't so that's the fact.

866-577-5827 : This number called me on Thanksgving Day. Threatening male voice, thick heavy accent. Did not identify what he was calling about or whom he was calling for. Just stated I needed to call him back. He needs to leave me alone.

As you have read that the original number is connected to Global Credit & Collection Corp. The number that is given in their written correspondence is 866-350-4275. If any one wants to know who a number belongs to just go to BBB.org and check out a business or charity and enter the number in the area for that. I deal with these types of collectors on a daily basis for other people. I hope this helps everyone.

I am also getting recorded calls from this company, except its on a different number:905-413-8701, for at least once a week, for a previous owner of my mobile. I tried calling the number they mentioned (1866 349-8538) but just got an answering service that went in a loop, repeating itself so I ***g up.I have since joined the 'National Do Not Call List' ( www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca ) and reported them, So I'll see what happens, and I see from your experience above that its no use trying to get them to stop. There are some other websites that you can report this number on, maybe when there is enough complaints then so****ing will be done.

They people are s****ing to scare me.  They take money from my acct. every month and I still get 4 phone calls a day that are very nasty.  Now I'm told they need to take more money every month or go to court.  I think I'll close this acct. and see what happens because this company is upsetting my life every day. What makes me so mad is that Capital One will not discusss this with me.

These calls began 2 weeks ago and have become much more aggressive, sometimes up to 4 times a day.  I have an unlisted number (for obvious reasons) and still receive these calls.  I have contacted my phone provider to have my number c****ed.  I suggest each person being called by this operation do the same and endure the inconvenience to get some peace.

these people try to get information from you anyway they can, don't talk to them, the people on the other end of the line are not from the USA, they can hardly speak english

I have received numerous calls from this number and told them they have the wrong number and requested to be removed from their list.  However, they continue to call and then when I call back they laugh at me, curse at me and then **** up on me when I request to speak to a supervisor.

I have had a few calls from this number but no matter what I do I get another recorded message.  I just don't answer the phone anymore or **** up when this number appears on my caller id.

I have received a number of calls from these people. I called back and told them to put me on their do-not-call list. The representative said it would take 48 hours to have my number removed. They're trying to reach the previous owner of my mobile number. The first time I spoke to them, I encountered someone with a very thick accent who was extremely rude and unapologetic!

They called me twice this am...They can only call once a day according to the Fair Debt Collection Act....

These idiots are harrassing my elderly mother, asking for her date of birth, as they try to guess it. She has spoken to someone called "Sam Williams" with a thick accent.  Yeah, right! At least she is smart enough not to give them the information they are asking for.  They are s*** of the earth, using a Ca***ian number to get around USA fair trade laws.  I told her to put an air horn up to the phone when they call and blast their ears!
