These guys were calling me about an account that was real old. You can't expect me to pay for so****ing from 5 years ago!!!  I tried talking to them but they didn't seem to get it.  I googled their company name "Global Credit" and found their website. I sent a request to stop bugging me.  A manager called me back a couple dayslater and told me they were closing my account.  The website is http://www.globalcollection.net

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number. They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

A recorded voice, female, repeating endlessly "For English press 1.  For English press 1."  Finally I did:  the same voice said, "Thank you for contacting us.  Please hold and an operator will be with you shortly."  After a bit of hold music, I ***g up.  I've only had this number a month or so.  And *I* did not "contact" them, THEY contacted ME.

Recorded voice, female, endlessly repeating "For English press 1.  For English press 1."  Finally I did, and the same voice said, "Thank you for contacting us.  Please hold and an operator will be with you shortly."  After a minute or so of hold music I ***g up.  I'm disturbed, though, by the line "Thank you for contacting us" -- *I* did not contact *them*, *they* contacted *me*.

I'm not smiling today - these people keep calling asking for Gerald, and someone else. I keep telling them they've got the wrong # - finally told by 2 different people that they'd take my # out of their system (which is an automatic dialer) but that it would 2 - 3 business days to do so.They've called at least 5 times today - if I could climb thru the phone to shake them up a bit I would - as I don't owe anyone money and I'm not the person they're calling for.

Does anyone have the address to Global by any chance?

They call me 5 times before 9am and now have been calling my cell #, which I did not give it to them.I have told them that is harrassment.I have contacted the account to which I owe. As I will not make any payments to global. Omar and Roe were the last to call with in a hour of each other.

This number calls almost every single day, sometimes twice a day.I refuse to respond to an unidentified caller/recording.  This should not be legal.  It is technically harassment.

My Husband and I get at least one call from this number per day. When answered, there is either no one there or there is the fax ring which is in itself not only irritating, but painful to hear.  Most often there are repeated calls, late in the evening about 9 or 10 oclock, several at a time. And since we have a caller ID which shows the number on our TV, it interupts the program you're wat****g. The most irritating thing about them is that they don't answer their phone at all,when calling because I could deal with a collection agency, but I hate the fact that they don't even admit to what they are.

Dont ignore them. Tell them that you would like them to send you the original debt, they will never have it. Advise them that you are now going to record the conversation. (Record is you are able to), then say ok Im recoirding.In accordance with Fair Credit Act, I am requesting the original debt, you are no longer aloud to call untill I am sent this debt, and you have proof of me signing for it. This call was recorded and any further calls prior to being sent this debt will be reported!

This is for Capital One collection.  Its an outside collection agency called Global Collection.

Caller ID indicates Markham, ON as the location.  Have rec'd numerous calls within the past few days.  Finally answered and all it says is for english press 1 with a ****on being pushed.  I am current on all my bills and don't have an account with capital one.  Have no idea why they are calling or how they got my number?

This number continues to call early in the morning does not leave a message and ****s up. This happens on a regular basis.

If this is a collection agency they need to leave a message not just call every morning at 8am and bother me on a regular basis, have the ***** to say whatyou want not just harass people.
