2011JUL10, 1pm - The Caller identifies himself as "Steven Brown" who sets up appointments for AIRDUCT CLEANING SERVICES in Scarborough at 905-963-0139.  "Steven Brown" is an alias for a person of Indian descent  "Steven Brown" refuses to delete my telephone number from their calling list unless I agree to see their sales rep by appointment. This caller always talks with a thick Indian accent and always has a radio blaring in the background.  This Indian caller has called before (using a different English name, a week ago) and tries to sell a Long-Distance Telephone Plan.  Although I confront this "Steven Brown", he denies and lies.  His Ultimate Plan is probably to achieve a money transfer by Western Union.  My Ultimate Plan is to tell this Steven Brown that he is trying to scam me and I am not interested.  I just wait until he ****s up by leaving the phone on the table.  Thus "Steven Brown" will waste time and not be able to call his next victim.The phone number 905-963-0139 is****igned to Gt Group Telecom Services Corp and the actual exc****e location is in Hamilton, ON. There seems to be a link to cellphone provider, Bharatiya Mobile, in Andhra Pradesh.  Andhra Pradeshis a state situated on the southeastern coast of India.

Just got a call, telling me people in my area are spending around $100 a week on groceries and that they sent me a coupon in the mail and were wondering if I received it.A couple of problems with this:1.  Ca***a post is on strike, so if they did mail anything, I WOULDN'T HAVE RECEIVED IT!!2.  They used my old last name, so obviously taking numbers from the phone book

the guy say- call from Police****ociation  for donation so****ing. but i'm not trust him.

Xentel really does collect money for programs that different Police****ociations do. Usually the Police****ociations are raising money to support programs that help underprivileged kids or raising money for other charities. So I'm not sure how they would fall under so****ing considered to be a "scam". Also, they do not need Credit Card info. They can easily send you an invoice which represents whatever organization they are raising money for, and the checks are payable to that organization.It is a shame the internet is used this way to further perpetuate slander/myths.

Received a letter in the mail with same phone number. Wanted to buy my house.

litalau just receive a call from this number asking donation of 400 to the leukemia children. I say not this time, he immediately reduced to 100, 50 and so on. I just told him I donate my money to ***an Tsunami disaster area. He just **** up.

If they don't stop calling I will flip. Every time my child  goes to bed they call and call.

They called twice already, the last one was last night. I don't recognize the phone number so I don't pick up or call it back. They don't leave a message either. I figured, that if it was important they will leave a message. Decided to look it up today and found this. Very annoying because they would call at 9 pm when my 15 month old is sleeping. Can someone do so****ing to stop this and yes, I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Does that mean it's not honored in Ca***a?
