I agree with the other callers, but they also leave the same message at your family members home and your main work number, so others call you too. Pure intimidation. Never call these trolls back or acknowledge them.

Does anyone know who this is?

This seems to be a variation on the "we will serve papers on you tomorrow" scam.

A man called, said he was from the local county; and looking for me; wanted to know if I was the person. After I said yes, he said I was being served papers for civil suit. He didn't have information other than he gave me another number to call.Number was 855 640 4813, which was Edison Park. E. P. is supposedly an attorney.Previously this person called my mother in another state, told her I was in trouble and to be served papers and that I was a defendant and my grandmother (deceased almost ten years) was plaintiff. My mother was told police would be at her house with the papers between 9am-5pm and that she would have to sign. Today I got call and it showed as blocked on my cell phone, I answered. Then the person supposedly named Evan Adams with my local county told me I was being sued. And that I needed to contact the attorney at their number to keep them from coming to my house. Sad this happens in the US. The FTC and CA attorney general are getting letter of complaint from me.

They keep calling my friend looking for me telling him that I have court in two weeks, then they call and tell my friend that is the police and if I don't gonto court I will have a warranty for my arrest, I font live in ca for the past 6 years scare to call any advised.

The above mentioned number was given to the owner of a company I work with on occasion by someone callling from 'The Blackstone Group' asking for his help in finding me, good grief.  As luck would have it, he is an understanding person however if he had been otherwise I most likely would not find more work from him in the future.The same people have twice contacted my 77 year old mother who suffers from Parkinsons disease and in no uncertain terms became confused and frightened by the Blackstone person who offered far too much information with regard to their intention to file a lawsuit a***nst her daughter.  Even supplying her with a 'case number' which I suppose is supposed to make things sound more official.Just trying to get back on my feet after a few really devastating years and it will happen but not while being hounded by those that made the mistake of buying debt without having the patience to allow for repayment.
