Louisa Wong This call was an invitation to reduce the electricity bill. in at least 40% for bills of $150.- or more. I don't know if this is true but anyway an impersonal call is a burden.
i just got a call from 9164698865 had a strong indian accent saying they was from the attorney generals office claiming i had falsified income on a credit application and that if i didn't pay them 4660.00 within a hour they was arresting me for 7 years when asked for proof of who they are they got very defensive and said that i wasn't willing to work with them
Left me 4 voicemail messages, claiming he was from the State Attorney General's office. Threatened me with legal action if I did not return his call immediately. Told me to have my full social security number when I called. This is a variation on the Nigerian scammers. I want to know who this guy REALLY is (He had a VERY HEAVY Asian accent and identified himself as "Eric Johnson" - like I was born yes****ay) and report him to the State AG, the Sacramento PD and the Sacramento DA's office. I understand there's nothing you can do to help me, but if anyone else uses your service and requests a lookup of this number, you can at least to tell them it's a scam. Thanks.
Claims to be from the DA's office and legal matters are pending if you do not pay a past due debt.
Maq ****ed off to***** called my work and stated I have to call 916-469-1761 and speak to District Attorney. He said he was with the District Attorney's office, working for George Belosky. I verified this with him and when he tried to verify my SS# informed him it was wrong then asked for the correct one and the phone number from which he called me on. I informed him that I wouldn't give him eighter and to send so****ing via mail or email as he had informed me he didn't need me to give him the information he had it infront of him and just wanted to verify it is correct. I called the phone number provided and the person on the other line asked me a***n to verify information in order to pull up my account. once I informed them I was looking online and they are listed as a fraud and I plan to report this to the FTC they ***g up on me.
