This scammer keeps calling my phone! Report the scam to local police, State Attorney and file private lawsuit and collect money damages! Called from 916-526-1596 on 5/2/22.

They claimed there was a $450 debit on some account of mine and gave a website to go to. Haven't responded, since I can see from my bank statement that there's no such debit, and if there is, I'll take it up with my bank :-)

This appears to be a spam bot sending texts in support of a local candidate. Very annoying.

When telemarketers call I tell them I'm busy but they should give me their home phone number and I will call them back later when they get home from work. When they refuse I ask them why not and when they say because they don't like getting night time calls at home from strangers, then I say "well I guess you know how I feel then" and I **** up.

I am at the near-default point with Sallie Mae, but these people called me two weeks ago claiming I was in default for an amount nearly 4 times what I actually owe. At the time, I was so taken aback - they called my parents' home while I was house-sitting, and I just happened to answer the phone. I set up some insane auto-payment plan, with my bank account number, and the first payment of which was supposed to hit my bank account this morning. I am well aware of the consequences of student loan default - but I have another month to pay off Sallie Mae the actual amount owed. I was a fool to give them my bank account info, but nevertheless EdFund is trying to perpetrate a fraud. I'm alerting my bank and calling EdFund back. My loans are a problem, but not as much of a problem as EdFund claimed.
