They're not spammers. They're the collections department for the College Foundation of North Carolina, a non-profit that deals with student loans. If you're getting calls, you either have past due bills on a loan, or someone listed you as a reference just in case they need to get up with the borrower. Also, I wouldn't ignore them if you do owe student loans, because you don't want those ****ers going into default.
