Now Dean Jones is calling from 714-598-4227 harassing people.

A person who called himself Dean Jones, told me that he was an attorney for Federal Legistration who is a company who ownes over 500 online payday loan websites. He indicated that I would be served with papers on Friday morning and one of his investigators would haul me off to the court to face criminal charges for bank fraud, internet fraud,ext.  He wanted me to pay $973.00 to settle an online payday loan which he says that I took out for $200.00 and had deposited into my bank account in November, 2008.  My bank account was not opened until January, 2009 and no deposits have been made except for SSI Benefits for my disabled children. He also threatened me that he was contacting my employer to let them know that I was a thief.  I haven't worked since 2001! He also told me that I would have to pay $8,500.00 after I went to court and lost my case. Also, I would have to pay money to pay for my bail out of jail. Another person called John Hardy called me also telling me the same story. When I called him back, he had the same thick accent as Dean Jones and refused to let me speak to John. I also could hear several thick accented voices in the background trying to scam others. These people who say they are attorneys indicate that they are calling from the California Superior Court and will file criminal warrants by 5:30 p.m. Beware! This person had my personal information, including my bank info and relatives names and addresses.  They even went so far to tell me that my relatives were being charged with me and I would see them in court in the morning, so bring pleanty of bail money for them too.  I live in Ne***ska, they live in Texas. I have contacted my county attorney's office and our local police investigators who will do what they can to stop this scam.  I also am in the process of notifying my state's attorney general's office and also filing a complaint with the BBB.  Please don't give these people any money.  They are frauds.

A person called me and left me a message. I could not understand him.  I called back to see what it was regarding.  He said I owed over $1200 on payday loan of $300.  When I asked for the information all he said it was from March 2008 and it was deposited into my Bank then.  He even knew my banks name.  I knew there was so****ing wrong when I didn't even have an account at that bank in 2008.  Now about an hour ago I got a call from the same man who happened to give me a different name and a different number to call him at.  He said they would take me to court and he was very rude!!

this person called saying i owe money from a fast cash place.i dont recall owing moneyto them he was really rude he said i was gona get serve and he kept on asking why i havent paid.

received call from above number caller had thick accent told me if i did not call them back all he could do was pray for me.

Someone called me saying that they were going to serve me with papers for a loan I did not pay. I don't owe anyone. When I asked them for their information for my lawyer to contact them, they could not provide me with it.

called with thick accent saying they were serving me with papers and would see me in court for a payday loan from federal leg. of unsecured loans. i never recieved this payday loan. they called my cell phone and knew 2 of my family members where i work and my bank information.
