Hi there I have had £177 taken out of my current account with a ref DRI SRalphSoftware LUXEMBOURG - called the bank and they're refunding me, stopped my card and sending me forms for their fraud dept to check out. I don't use Skype and at a loss as to how my card details were used.

yes got scammed too £154.81 DRI Adware Fighter but we are not on skype, calling cc co now

Same thing happened to me.  DRI Adware Fighter 952 646 5288 for 216.50 CDN charged on my credit card on July 29, 2010.I have no Skype or any VOIP so I don't think that is the connection.I am not an internet newb or anything and I find it very troubling that this charge managed to get on my card.  My credit card company was very good and refunded me the money.  Hopefully these investigations will lead to the company getting shut down.

I too have found an unauthorised debit on my credit card for £164.21 for DRI Adware Fighter dated 30 June 2010.  I too have Skype.  I'm waiting to find out whether my credit card company is going to reimburse me.

I got £162.74 STOLEN from my account by the same company yes****ay.so so ****ed off with this.

Me too and just after I set up skype credit on a different skype account.  Has anyone spoken to skype about this?  No call yet

THIS IS REALLY WORRYING.  I AM STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY.  IT MAKES YOU WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE THIS HAS ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO.

The exact same thing has just happended to me and the exact same amount has been charged to my credit card. I have no idea what this company is or how they got my card details. I have contacted my bank and they are checking it out. The advisor at the bank said she had never heard of the company. I will let you know if I get my money back.

Same a***n for me.  A payment on my credit card of £166.79.  No idea who they are.  I do not use SKYPE so this is different from some other people and no one has called me.I will contact my credit card to cancel the card and attempt to get the amount refunded.

hi just received my credit card bill and there is a transaction listed as dri adware fighter £172.14.  No idea what this is and so contacted my bank.  they are looking into this for me.  when I tried to call the number 9526465288 it states that the number has not been recognised.  just thought i would try and look the name dri adware fighter up on the internet and it came up with this site.  can't believe this has happened to so many others.  have the others been able to get there money back?

Hi to all, just wanted to share my conclusion about this. I too got charged but my observation lead me to this. We all have in common VOIP, SKYPE or other phone over internet applications, so last month was the first time I bought credit for my VOIP (SKYPE) directly with a debit card on there site instead of doing it through pay pal & look what happened! So by knowing the username & the phone number they hack in & get the card details! Don’t buy directly from them but through protected sites like pay pal or I don’t know others-don’t leave U'r data saved 4 next time! Definitely give U’r provider a call & warn them & let them know of the incident & what is going on. They will probably find new means of protection! Call the bank, block the transaction & ask the bank to chase the intruder, let them know that U r not the only one, so they can investigate it is in there interest too! I've just been charged £162.44 for a DRI adware fighter on 01 May 2010. The number they left was: 952 646 5288 on the statement, So I rang it and it went through to "Digital River" (I am from the UK and had to use +1  international code as this company is US based!) They tried asking for an order number and my card number so they can find me on the database (Which i didn't provide and asked if they request alternate information)when they found the order in the database, they asked me to hold and said they've sent a refund request which may take up to 5 business days to process and get into my account!...I have no idea what's going to happen, if i'm going to get a refund or not. i never ordered this nor have I heard of them before!?! All i know is that my account has been charged! Since it's bank holiday here today (perfect timing) i am going to ring my bank tomorrow and notify them! Hopefully if this works out i'm going to request the bank to c****e my details... As someone somewhere has obviously got hold of my details! I wish everyone else the best of luck!
