Frustrated Consumer I keep getting call after call from this number. They will not leave a message and sometimes will call 3-4 times in a span of a minute. Of course when I call the number it will not accept incoming calls. It is most likely a solicitor calling or a collection agency. What I do not understand are the laws that protect consumers. Are these people allowed to keep calling???

I have received the same type call and its frustrating because they don't seem to want to answer. I received the same type call the other day and had my headphones in my phone and answered but the person couldn't hear me. There is a person if you answer, but if not they refuse to leave a message much less have a formal greeting on their VM identifying themselves as to who it is. There are 2 other numbers940-535-7036 & 972-200-9979 that are the same exact thing. Seagoville, Texas seems to be a theme too!

We just moved to TX a few months ago. Was only here for about a month before the phone calls from the state started...From the TXDOT, Texas Firefighters Organization, and also Texas State Troopers Funding for widows of fallen troopers. We have donated to all of these. Now they call everyday-sometimes two-three times a day. Morning and night-seven days a week. Very Frustrating! We usually don't answer the phone anymore when Unknown displays on the caller ID. Since our phone number is private, I would like to know how the heck they got it! Someone must be sharing our private info. Possibly the Drivers License offices?
