Anonymous Now I'm not sure if my previous comments are correct (concerning Chevrolet Corvette folks) as I have received more texts messages from this number and I believe that it is a s****ing from someone claiming to be a Shipping Company wanting me to pay an "Insurance Scheme" (as they called it). When asked (via text) about their location, etc. I get no response, just more pressing questions concerning paying them and proceeding with them.

Anna Message left on my mother land line, It was an Officer Judy from US Treasurer and we need to call back 213-261-7610 or I would need to go to court and if not I will be arrested. I tried to call back but number just ****s up. A total Scam!

Landline SCAM. They also call from 301.357.8827. They claim to be from the Dept of Legal Affairs for the US Treasury. The IRS doesn't call you. They send a certified letter that you have to sign for and then they tell you to call them. The guy left a message claiming he was TJ Smith. When they called earlier they said their name Peter Smith.

Pete I have getting calls from this number for the last month.In the beginning it was once a day. then it turned to twice a day. Now it's like 5 times a day.I picked it up a coule of times and directed me to hold - I Didn't.How do we stop this ?
