Do not give them credit card information. You will be charged $800 to have them lower your interest rate. They will lower your rate but for a huge fee which they don't tell you about. This happened to my neighbour who has alzheimers. Do not give out the three digit security code on the back of your card.

Identified itself as Cardholder Services on a recorded message. Called my Cellphone.

These guys are scamming creeps. Its only right that we should all figure out who is behind this and offer them some good old internet vigilance. Reddit, 4chan? Can we help? I think so. 2697682214 and all the rest of you phone scammers.... stop messing with the public. we're bigger than you, faster than you, stronger than you, and really quite uncontrollable when you enrage us so.

Most annoying, unethical, am**** ****s I ever had to put up with. Called me at 9:00PM to have me answer my cell and to **** up.

There is no reason this number should be calling me. They are just wasting my minutes.

"Cardholder services" (269-768-2214) routes its phone calls through Lucre Inc. based in Grand Rapids, MI.  Call 616-361-0128, speak with Kevin or Scott and ask to be taken off their lists.  Steve Hale is the owner if you need to give him the stick.  Feel free to threaten to report Lucre to the FCC (which you can do on the FCC's website, under E-Filing) and to your state's attorney general.  If you think I'm annoyed when some robo-call says I can lower my rates on my credit cards when I don't have any credit card debt, you're right.  Booyah!

i dont know why they are calling me but w***ver it is needs to quit calling because the person you are trying to reach no longer has this number and it annoys me e****ally when i am at work and i think it is important but it really isnt thank you for wasting my time....

It s****es with an automated message saying they can lower rates on my credit card. To speak with someone you need to press a number on the keypad. I didn't but this is the 2nd or 3rd call in the past few weeks. I think this is a scam.

They claim to be a consumer advocate group for lowering your interest rates on your Visa or Mastercard, but I think it's just a phishing scam. When I asked where they were based out of they ***g up on me.

Got this call today 5/20, didn't recognize the number so didn't answer.  This is about the 5th call I have gotten from 5 different area codes I didn't recognize.  Didn't answer any of them.  This is the first time I have googled, so I was surprised to read about the scams going on with credit cards.  Glad I haven't bothered to answer any of these.  I usually don't anyway if I don't recognize the #.  Figure if they really want me they can leave a message.

how did they get this cell number and how do I stop them?  I don't even have a credit card.

this number called my cell phone as a credit card inquirey, I stayed on the line to "speak to a represen***ive" so I could ask to be removed from the call list, when the guy asked if I was calling to inquire about my credit card I replied "no, as a matter of fact, your company just called me, I pressed 1 to talk to you so I could ask to be removed from the call list" the guy replied is this is not a serious inquirery, if you want to talk about so****ing serious like the weather we can do that... or how about J***... do you like j*** maam? I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he said please hold, pressed a ****on and answered the phone a***n, and (pretending to be someone else) said good afternoon maam, how may I help you? At this time I was furious and said who are you people, and he said, "you people... "I do not understand what you mean by you people,... this is obviously not a serious inquirery, would you prefer to talk about j***... we can talk about that if you would like to" I ***g up and checked it out on here.

I've gotten the call about 1ce a week for the last few months.  One time i pressed 1 (because i knew it was a scam... "credit card services" my ****!  I got a live person - i asked what card he was calling about, then he ***g up. I still receive the call a few times a month, no person though.

Just got a call, and got a 3 second silent voicemail. Sounds like telemarketing.

To Madonna or anyone else: Dont press 1!!!  You'll get a neverending stream of calls.  You are correct about the scam.They've received my number from an online skin care / make up site.  Sometimes they will quote the last 4 digits of a card.

I just received my second call from this phone number: 269-768-2214. S****s with a voice recording and says its from CardMember Services offering to lower your credit card interest rate. It says you have been selected to lower your credit card rate - since I have a credit card with Chase and they call themselves CardMember Services on everything - I thought it was them. The voice recording says if you are interested in lowering your rate, to press 1. So I pressed 1 and was transferred to a human person. I asked her which credit card she was calling me about and she just said that she represents all of VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, and Discover. She asked me if I wanted to lower my interest rate. A***n, I asked her which account she was specifically calling about and she said that she represents all of the cards and asked me if I had one. I asked her a third time that I needed to know which card she was referring to and she simply said that it sounded like I wasn't interested in lowering my rate and she ***g up. Please warn your credit card customers about this AND please look into this SCAM. Thank you.

Did not recognize area code ignored call and let it go. How do these solicitors get cell numbers?

No message, creates an unwanted charge on my account.

I received a call from this number today (269-768-2214).  As I don't know anyone in the 269 area code, and have all numbers of my contacts programmed in my phone, I did not answer it.  Now I'm glad that I didn't waste my minutes on this.

I made the mistake of answering.  Telemarketer for "Card Services"....on my cell phone...*******s...

This number has called me twice now.  No message was left when I did not answer.

The first time the call came in as 002-697-682214, then this afternoon as 269-768-2214.  Both times they went to voicemail and both times left no message.  I called the number back but it says "the number you dialed is not in service at this time.  Thank you for calling, goodbye"I agree with above, its just a ****** telemarketer

got 2-3 of these already..i picked up call and didnt say anything and the call ***g up. I think its voice activated
