The caller id says, Dr Levy.  the phone number however is a legitimate one for fundraising on behalf of the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police.   www.mifop.com  has a listing of all of the legitimate telephone numbers they use.  The MiFOP is a recognized charitable organization and registered with the State of Michigan Attorney General.I understand that some of the phone numbers listed belong to members of "Corporations for Character", to which the MiFop belongs.

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Michigan Fraternal Order of Police. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.mifop.com. Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for Michigan police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

got this call twice yes****ay, caller ID says Dr Lely, but way out of my area code---answered the call the 2nd time (just for grins) and the automated voice told me I was scheduled for a Direct Tv installation--since I happen to LIKE my cable co. I ***g up at that time--they sure are sneaky little devils though, using Dr. as an ID

Call came I did not answer.  No listing in the land line phone book
