I was to deposit the check for 4,997 dollars into my account anabout 2900 back to them via money-gram. So I did some checking, I called citibank..not the number on the check cause that will tell you the d wire money is in there, but the main office for citibank. They said there was a block on the account. So I did a reverse lookup for the number on the check for Trolux home etc. and it came back as a cell phone...very odd. So I took it to my bank and they told me it was probably a fake and they would try to deposit it but they would wait to make the funds available untill it cleared. Guess what it didn't clear. Don't send them any money it is a scam and the amount they have you send is just under the government limit for wire transfers. Over a certain amount is automaticalloy reported to the Feds. Furthermore, you could get in trouble for money laundering in a worst case senario. Some of these are ever ********* organizations. DON'T FALL FOR IT PLEASE!!!!

no call a letter with a check.said i won a grant .looked up the phone number area code and the address was here in tennessee did not match (trolux home & business management,inc ) contact ppl Tony lawson or Jennifer taylor 1-289-892-3613 this number not the area code 4 tennesee also contact agent( veronica hamilton houston texas) that suppose 2 release funds after i suppose 2 cash the check and send them half by money order suppose 2 send the rest of the grant money or if i did not claim it send it 2 a charity in my city. this is a SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Phone number was listed in a letter as contact info for Barrett Xplore in Ca***a. This letter contained a check for $150,000.00 on behalf of some lottery board. When you look up the phone number on their website none of their numbers correspond to the one given in the letter.
